You should hit the open market, a casino boat and of course Bourbon St. All the food is excellent there so you can't really go wrong. I had the best Italian food of my life there but I can't remember the name of the place.

Keep your eyes open and pay attention to those around you at all times.

House of Blues Jazz Brunch on Sunday's (call ahead for rez).After a night of partying go to Igors on st charles and Jackson.You can drink, play pool and do laundrey in one stop. Just go to this cool bar on Bourbon Street, I think it's called MacDaddy's or something. Anyway, the food their is to die for and the drinks are free.

They also have gorgeous waitresses who wear only naughty maid outfits with suspenders and g-strings. If you leave enough of a tip they hold your wife back whilst a couple of their fine ladies give you a a blow job whilst licking your chocolate starfish.

Then again, I could be fuckin with ya.

1) GW Fins. Get the crab soup, the duck and the chocolate mousse cake. You won't be sorry.

2) Also worth trying is Jacomo's. Their velvet black fish (something like that -- check with the waitress), very good!

It's been about 5 years since I've been there (I've been there twice), but these were my favorites:

For a yummy breakfast, go to the Bluebird Cafe. I don't remember the exact location, but it's near the Tulane University campus. They cured every hangover I had last time I went to Mardi Gras. Yum.
Also, be sure to get some crawfish, somewhere. We got them at a run of the mill bar where they steamed them with cajun spices and you bought them by the basket (like free bar popcorn, here) for $3. You twist off the head, peel em and eat em. Yum. If you want to be like a real Southerner, you'll suck the head. I didn't though.
There's a fairly neat erotic art gallery in the French Quarter called A Gallery Named Desire. In fact, the whole quarter is pretty cool to hang out in, day or night. Just walk around and see what you find.
The garden district is gorgeous. Beautiful homes and architecture.
If they still make it, the Ibita brewery outside of New Orleans made a beer called Purple Haze that used real essence of blackberry. Super, duper yummy. They didn't bottle it, only sold it by the keg as they wouldn't dilute it w/preservatives so you'll have to get it in a bar, but it's oh so good.

just hit jefferson square & the cemetary where the voodoo witch is & check the Renassiance (marriott, sweet)

then there's baton rouge (the starbucks are awesome)
