Tene is my cousin's middle name. My mother really liked it, plus her names starts with a T as well. I later learned that it also means "love" in Yoruba. I graduated bitches!!! 12-19-09

Yeah but Andy's not good at hiding shit...I know he's not a drag queen, but he would have turned the town out like Patrick Swayze.

Well, slap my ass and call me Sally, I learned something today. I thought it was pronouced "Mack" or "Mock." I do like your pronunciation much better though.
Lawd knows how my mom came up with my name. No, it's not Shyra. My first name is Patricia and my middle name is Veronica. Mom told me she wanted to name me "Michelle," but it would have been a tongue twister with my last name. She did tell me she got my middle name from a famous actress of the 40's named Veronica Lake. Mom's mother offered to pay the fee to have my name changed. Thank God Mom didn't name me after her mother. Her first name was Hermyne, pronounced Her-Meen.

I was going to be Laura, after my great-grandmother, but my cousin was born first and my aunt took that name. For which I say, (Not that I don't like the name or my great-grandmother - it just isn't "me.")
My mom kicked around a few other names before settling on the name she gave me. She had a pattern. I have three sisters (no brothers) and we all have three-syllable first names ending in "A." And because my parents are Catholic, all are saint's names (my sisters) or from the Old Testament (mine). We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I don't remember there being a Trina in a Bette Davis movie. In Now, Voyager there was a "Tina."
The only "Trina" I remember from a movie is in I Remember Mama. The character was played by Ellen Corby (Grandma Walton).
Wait! I just remembered another Trina. Penny Serenade, with Cary Grant and Irene Dunne.
