Anybody here have it? If so, do you like it/recommend it?

I'm thinking about getting a new phone and wondering about the Galaxy vs. the iPhone.

Plus, I love their commercials where they take down the iPhone and iPhone users.

I have the first generation. I had to have it replaced this year due to hardware issues. Lame.

I'll probably get the newest version when I upgrade next year.

Yep. Complete bullshit. I was jealous a little when I saw it, then I had my cousins demonstrate it on their phones. They even said: ofcourse they gotta make it look good for the commercial.

Besides, I'm at a point where I don't care about the bells and whistles anymore. I need to be able to make calls and text and that's all.

I'm not even sure I know what a playlist is, to be honest. I'm 99.9% sure that I would never use, or attempt to use, that feature anyway. The guys who swap a playlist in the commercial are really hot, though, and that got my attention.

Yeah, I thought that was brilliant of the ad-makers. I love that they just brazenly make the iPhone the first choice of the stodgy, middle-age parents.

I've got a Samsung galaxy and still love it.

I especially love the swype, the lower costs compared to Iphone, and it'ws a reliable phone.

Had to buy new batteries once and a new charger. However, these were cheap and easy to get.

It depends on what you are looking to do. It already comes with a voice recorder app, on the phone and there are a few in the "Google" app store.
