The Walking Dead S3 Epi2: "Sick" (Spoilers) Herschel lives!!!!!!
I knew the prison guys had to go. The main guy, knew he was going to be trouble from the start. I thought it was hilarious how they were beating up the walker like it was a prison riot instead of just going for the head as Rick instructed.
So Rick is completely shut down when it comes to Lori. Wow, he was cold as ice. Ah oh well.
Anybody wondering how Daryl will react when it's revealed that Meryl still lives? [Edited 10/22/12 12:17pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

O.M.G. The Zombie Prison Beat Down.
I was in tears! That was done perfectly. Still makes me laugh just thinking about it!
I'm kinda with Rick on this one. He tried being Mr. Nice Guy, Mr. Democracy, and look where it got him. I think Rick is still there, but shut down for now. He showed a glimpse of warmth with Lori until she tried to get even closer and he was so kind with Herschel.
I'm so glad Herschel is still alive. I'm firmly planted in denial

I'm watching "Talking Dead" now... I love hearing about the episodes... (esp. "In Memoriam"
It was fun watching it on FB with you last night, NBJ!
I had a bizarre zombie dream last night... "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

In my dream, I was fighting with Rick and those guys... in my house. As fast as we fought them off, more would pop up. Rick and I could not agree on how to handle them.

That zombie/prison beatdown was straight out of Chappelle ep. I could see Ashy Larry playing T-Dog "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

I am loving this season so far. I actually was lucky enough to meet IronE Singleton here in the Scranton area last month. He seemed like a very cool, genuine person. Very nice to everyone, took time to speak w/ people. He was also funny as hell. He was awesome. Ok, I'm done geekin' out now.

Well, we had a sort of zombie convention called Infect Scranton. It took place over 3 days and included a zombie pub crawl, a marathon in which you'd be chased by zombies, and a convention at my old high school where there were several vendors, and actors from Romero's night of the Living Dead, and a few from the Walking Dead. IronE of course, and the little girl zombie w/ the teddy bear from the very first episode, and Madison Lintz who played Sophia. Oh, and the lady who played Morgan's zombie wife from season 1. they had a "Walking Dead panel" where the actors took questions from the audience. Irone was very entertaining.

I was digging this episode too. So far, this is turning out to be a pretty good season. I hope it keeps this pace with the zombies & drama 50/50. الحيوان النادلة ((((|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|)))) ...AND THAT'S THE WAY THE "TITTY" MILKS IT!

Why is the title of this episode 'sick' it should have been 'you idiot' once for that fight scene, really, stabbing several times in the belly and it still takes you all forever to remember what you were told, another the one who tried to chicken out and got bit, oh sure let's just back down a dark hall in a building full of zombies, and last but not least, the twit who just immediately tries to kill the first instance of outside human contact after, what, 10 months, of being locked in a room, just because, he deserved what he got, idiots.

They are kinda losing me. I know it always had a certain element of cheese but this last episode was mucho cheesy with whole Hershel thingy.
And it seems like some of the things that they were so worried about like ingesting zombie blood has totally been forgotten. Like Glenn kissing zombie goo covered what's-her-face's shoulder/neck.

I know right Erin!? I was thinking the same thing.
I've had that issue all along. The start the whole hack-a-walker scenario and I'm thinking "BLOOD SPLATTER CONTAMINATION!!!"
It's for convenience and yeah, it is lazy storytelling. I'm firmly planted in denial

The "science" of what turns you into a zombie and what doesn't has always been sketchy at best. The writers seem to have a very tenuous grasp on it. I'm willing to look past it, though, because it really seems like a MacGuffin anyway--at least if the other plot and storytelling devices are strong enough to overshadow it. And that's where the show is failing, for me. Plus, the show really needs to start delivering more tense and scary moments.
Now that this is the No. 1 show on TV, I'm hoping they step up their game in a major way.
