Nope, I am happy all year. I LOVE the spring and winter. I would love to live in an area

that is generally rainy and cold biggrin

WHY?!?!?!?!

I run pretty hot normally.

Something about the rain just makes me think clearer and faster, I get some of my best work

done or come up with the best ideas when it is pouring outside.

I also feel more sexy when its cold, my nipples are harder and I get turned on a lot easier shrug

Something about the cold makes me want to get hot.

Hmm...I don't quite get what you mean.

Maybe it'll be cold & rainy on November 3rd and you can show me what you mean.

Who else is ready to kill him/herself again, but won't do it, and in stead will just feel miserable and wait till this depression pass?

(I'm the first, this year!)

Or are you not impressed and not sensitive for those kind of silly stuf at all?

It's called SAD (Seasonal Adjustment Disorder) and it's real, it kicks in for me on Labor Day weekend which is the unofficial end of summer.

I cannot stand winter in the Northern U.S.!

The cold weather.

Having to wear all the extra clothing.

The shortened daylight.

Having to scrape the car windows in the morning.

Driving in snowy or icy conditions.

Getting colds, sick people all around spreading germs.

Not being able to do all the outdoor summer activities.

There's a reason why most wealthy people, who can afford to live anywhere they want, choose to live in warm weather climates.

Tee-shirt, shorts, sandals, beach, cold drink - who's gonna hate on that? lol

Tremolina

It usually starts to really bug me in december when days are the shortest, darkest and most rainy and cold.

So I usually plan my vacation in the fall/winter and for the erst work my ass off so I won't be reminded too much about the awful climate.

I get drowsy in the winter but not depressed. Winter's my favorite time of the year. I hate summer and being sweaty all day every day.

Ask me that question again in 6 months, its the middle of spring here in good old New Zealand, however its been wet and windy for the past 6 weeks and cold. We are still wearing slippers and using the electric blanket here yet sunset is at 7.43pm at the moment and its nearly green again.

Me, me, me.... I have that Seasonal Disorder.

Colder weather, shorter days URGHHH!

But, more than anything October is ALWAYS the time when life changing events occur for me. Don't know what it is but I observed it when I was a teen and it hasn't changed. It's like the moon, sun, stars....something just beams down on me to open that new aspect of my life. Mostly negative but definitely CHANGE! I pray it's good this year.

ThankUPrince!

i don't suffer much from the changing of seasons but these last few months I've noticed myself falling deeper and deeper into depression.

I dont really know what to do about it, if my few friends had the time I dont think they could help anyway.

I meditate when it gets really bad and at times I can percieve the depression as an almost physical independant entity. Ive given it a shove on two such occaisions and told it to move on but it ignored me.

Ive been spending too much cash trying to distract myself.

An affair would distract me for a month, a motorbike, a while longer but the depth of this depression is disconcerting. I need to kill it. sad

maybe i should also make sure im getting enough vitamin D.

small circles, big wheels!
I've got a pretty firm grip on the obvious!

Mine is always February. I feel like it is the longest shortest month. I am usually ready for a change in the weather by then but the cold won't let up. Valentine's does not fucking help!

I hear you all though. May is the month I get depressed. Days shorten in April, but its mine and my partners birthday that month and its still mild. But come May, its cool and wet and rains or showers most days. Even though we live in a mild climate (No snow or hurricanes/cyclones), when the sun rises low in the sky and its dark before 6pm, that gets me down. Plus really wet stormy days in winter are so overcast, coupled with the weak low sun, make it fell like its dark well before sunset (A lot of you must feel that now).

You guys are lucky to have Daylight saving run into November, here it ends start of April, when sunset goes back from 7.15pm to 6.15pm and by May 1 its back to 5.30pm. I don't think I could live in a place with has sunset at like 4 or 4.30pm. The earliest here in 5.11pm and in New Zealand about 4.55pm. I notice with your daylight savings (Americans and British) that your sunset is already back to pre 6pm even before it goes back!!!

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
