WHO KNOWS.. only we can watch the show and see what the producers have in mind....I didnt really like Daryl at first then he showed a soft side trying to find Sophia and showed he had a heart when he got with the group...as for his brother Merle ... idk what is gonna happen when Daryl finds him again.. and from what the previews was he comes back.... last time he(Daryl) had a dream about him down by a river and was passed out ...then he woke up to a walker trying to eat his foot...well see how and when if Merle is brought back and how the producers are gonna play that out.. as for Michonne OMFG cant wait to see her more in this and the life she brings to the show...my question is WHY is sh e lugging around 2 zombies with arms and lower jaw cut off...either when scratched they can infect u and u can turn into a walker....unless that is what the character does... even to sleep she would have to chain them up far away for her to get shut eye and they arent trying to attack her or others when she is lugging them around... like she trained them orthey are trained u know.. whats up with that?Anyone know? please let me in on that..thanks

in a way ur right about Shane banging Ricks wife Lori but remember too i thought earlier Lori was told by Shane Rick was dead that is another reason he took Lori and Carl when all hell broke loose on earth as Rick lied in the hospital in a coma state...Shane was outing everyone out basically he shot Otis to save his own ass when i clearly saw Shane bust out the window in the H.S. gym it was wide enough to fit Otis through after Shane busted it all out....hell even EVERYONE in the camp/farm figured that out...we know Shane was after Ricks wife for years prolly with him knowingly being told by Rick at the beginning of season 1 that they was having maritial issues ...i kind of had that feeling it would come down to it as in them shooting or killing one or the other....in a way yeah she is getting what she deserves but in a sence WHAT IF that baby is actually Ricks? They are gonna have to talk about it sometime and deal with that issue..regardless. What u said about Carol and Daryl .. hell even i thought that rofl... they was flirting when she brought Daryl a bite to eat where he was standing watch .. i thought it was cute and added a bit of humor into the world that was among the walkers.. they even laughed it off...and imo theyd make cute couple .. i mean Daryl had alot of heart to find Sophia and was driven to find her...and was heart felt when he told Carol of the story about the flower it was nice of him.... but im worried if hell change if and when Merle comes back into the picture.

Actually, to me it makes perfect sense.

There is no one else for them to hook up with really. And maybe the tension is a little forced because of a lack of options but they still have the basic sexual urge that everyone has. They both seem a little confused.

Oh yeah...even though Carol was playing/flirting with him, I think she's serious...but Darryl, he seems resistant, but in the same way he sort of felt uncomfortable when she was praising him last season for his efforts in trying to find her daughter. Guess he's just used to someone telling him he's a fuck up all the time.

From what I read on the net, there was a seperate comic book explaining Michonne's back story. The two zombies were her boyfriend and his friend respectively. She notice that zombies don't attack each other, so she basically uses them as a shield, and also she talks to them during her journey since she has no one else to talk to. Their arms and jaws were cut off obviously for her own protection. I'm sure she'll get rid of them when she eventually joins with other survivors.

I think Daryl looks at Carol like a sister or an aunt, protective of but not hot for. Nice to see Carl being an active member of the group, not the baby no more.

Sorry if I'm repeating something that's already been noted: Creator Robert Kirkman has said that Michonne represents the next step, or an evolution, in human-zombie relations. Whereas Rick and his group have been running/hiding from and/or fighting the zombies, Michonne shows how humans can adapt to existing with them (albeit once they are missing jaws and arms). I like that about her. She's badass.

OMG! I watched it last night. I was in blood & gore heaven!!!! I hope they really bring it on like that for the rest of the season. They really knocked it out of the ballpark with the first episode!

Zombies in riot gear were hilarious. But what could they do to you while they were in riot gear, they can't bite you? Are they suppose to be super-strong? I guess they could gang up on you until the non-riot gear zombs get at you.

So if everybody is already infected that when one dies they automatically turn into a zombie, why is it that a simple bite or scratch from a zombie turns you into a zombie? If they got an artery and you bleed to death I'd get it, but why would a plain bite just kill you?

It's an interesting question. I suppose the concentration of whatever pathogen already infects humans is immediately bolstered by the bite of a zombie.
