hmm.... Sorry for the length of this!

Ok i have been having this dream recently that is driving me off the wall!

for the past 4 day's in a row( And also had this type of dream many times this year)

I keep dreaming, i'm back in this old neighborhood from my elementry to middle school years.

And this was my grandmas place and she lived in a bad neighborhood..... i keep dreaming i am back in that place & bad thing's happen to me.

Last nigth i had a dream about some older guys that would always try to jump us for no reason & i dreamed that was happening but i was older

I also keep dreaming i'm back in the neighborhood & it's always night ... and something bad is about to happen.

Grant it i have really good memories associated with the place to!, but when i dream it's always memories of the bad stuff & i am either young or present age.

i tried to understand why i have been dreaming about this for week's on end now....

I did sadly just loose a friend to a heroin overdose & been insanely stressed out from work.

i'm thinking maybe it's about loosing something or overthinking/fear of something?

but i have had this type of dream... 9 or 10 times in the past 2 week's........ Thoughts?

There is your the answer. You're feeling back in a bad place where you have no control.

The combination of stress and your loss is bringing you back to this time in your life.

Perhaps you are recalling abusive situations which you blocked out as a child?

Thank's littlemissg, i was perhaps thinking this was a issue but didn't know how to put in words.

Hmmmm.... you know this could actually be apart of it to.

I was recently talking with my co-workers & roommates recently about some bad shit that happened when i was young. I don't talk about it much....

But i am rather aggresive.. and that's cause i got jumped quite a bit when i was younger(I Don't usually bring it up to many people.. cause eh, just didn't feel like it)

And that is when i was REAL young & soon i started doing football & Tae Kwon Doe and would beat up the kids that tried to jump me. But also i had times where bad thing's happened & i never told me my mom.. i just dealt with it.

And the incident in the dreams when i was really young & the 2 kids where threatning me.... for some reason i never told her about it that's always bugged me as to why i didn't tell her or anyone else.

maybe "helplessness in a waking situation?"

"not letting go of past regrets?"

Just your subconscious reminding you that whatever bad situations you have been in - have passed. You survive and move on to better things And you will do so again and again!

I absolutely love this. Any bad/trying/traumatic/scary/sad experiences we have been through we have already survived and we need to remind ourselves of that fact when those memories surface.
