Reggie Bush is going to be a dad. The Miami Dolphins star running back and his girlfriend of a year, Lilit Avagyan, are expecting a child together, her rep confirms.

"We're pretty excited," Bush, 27, said on the Florida radio program, the Paul and Young Ron Morning Show on Tuesday. "We're bringing a new life into the world, and to raise a child is a gift for a man and woman."

Armenian-born Avagyna, 23, lives in Los Angeles and is a dance professional who started a ballet academy and has made appearances on Dancing with the Stars. Over the summer, Bush and Avagyan spent some time romancing around Europe, including making a visit to Cartier in Paris in July.

Bush famously dated Kim Kardashian, from whom he split in 2010 after three years together.
