I hope the pain that she gave to her daughter comes back to her everyday in the big house.

those poor children!!!! i can only imaging the horrible things she would have done to them when they upset her

if i could i would happily adopt them all so they can stay together - and i really hope someone does that because they have obviously all been through so much already and splitting them up would be the worst thing anyone could do!

I have zero tolerance for child abuse. The thing that gets to me is just imagining the terror children experience being abused from the person who is supposed to protect them, and they can't do absolutely nothing to stop this. So freaking sad.

I agree, if it wasn't potty training it would have been something else. The mother obviously had a lot of anger toward the child, there's nothing the child could have done differently that would have prevented something like this from happening.

Jerry Sandusky raped and molested young boys for years, multiple boys, and got a minimum of 30 years in jail and a maximum of 60 years. This woman got 99 years. I guess it's obvious who the court system sees as a bigger monster.

Don't get me wrong. I'm very glad she got as large of a sentence as she did. I'll just be glad when the courts finally see the raping and molesting of children to be as big of a crime as physical abuse. Perhaps it's because with physical abuse you can see the scars, but with sexual abuse, the scars are hidden inside and are not visible to the casual observer and so people forget there was a trauma committed. Out of sight, out of mind. But to that child, it is never forgotten, no matter how many years pass. Just as the physical abuse a child has endured is never forgotten, they wear the evidence of their experience. A molested/raped child is told to "forget about it" or "get over it" or they are just not believed because there is no physical evidence.

I'm glad she got 99 years and that she has to live with the horrific act she did against her daughter. I hope she relives it in her mind over and over again, knowing she is the monster this little girl will dream about, she is the monster that inflicted these wounds.

I'm of the opinion that Jerry should've been sentenced to DEATH. But I'm thinking Sandusky's was an age thing. Even so Jerry shouldn't be allowed to breathe for what he did, same with this woman but I guess these sentences would do as long as neither ever get paroled for it.
