The one thing I don't care about from Stebe Harvey is his relationship advice. Nigha been divorced, what 3 times tryin to tell us whe we should and shouldn't do, lol.

Other than that, were it counts the most his comedy. He's alright to me. Not anywhere near my fav comis but he's funny though. His last special had some great bits, the bit about his ghetto niece's webbing, pretty funny.

I think he's the least funniest from his Kings of Comedy group. But out of the whole group, he has surpassed DL in the other venture area. He does talk radio, had a few sitcoms, has a clothing company, hosted Apollo, hosred a telent show (remember Steve Harvey's Big Time anyone?) and now has a daytime talk show which I haven't watched and probably wont, but he does have one. Can't knock his hustle.

About his comedy beefs, he's had a few. His biggest with Katt Williams who I don't think Steve even started. And Steve never even replied back to Katt Williams and Katt still throws salt at him when need be.

Another that has been swept under the rug was with his buddy Bernie Mac. I never believed those reports. It stems from a magazine article that said he went behind Bernie's back and auditioned for Oceans 11. Steve has been in what 3 movies his whole life, so I dougbt he ausitioned for the role. Hell, he said he's never auditioned for a role. The 2 movies he was in (Fighting Temptation and Love Don't Cost a Thing) those characters were written especialy for him. I think that mag was just trying to stir up somethig.

Dissing Bernie is another reason I can't look at Steve favorably...

I've never understood why he is so immensely popular in the black community. I never thought he was funny at all. His radio show is annoying, he's left an ugly stain on The Family Feud and although I've never watched his talk show, from what I've heard, it's pretty dumb. I ain't mad at the brotha for doing well and raking in all that bread because rarely does it happen for a black man unless he's a rapper. But I think there are lots of others out there with far more talent who aren't being afforded such opportunities.

I do listen to the "Steve Harvey" morning show on my drive home in the mornings, my problem with Steve is that he acts so ignant (ignorant) that everything has to be about him. I remember one morning when "Junior" the new comedian performed an excellent segment which was very funny.

Steve chimed in and reprimanded the young comedian on the air and told him that he should never again perform a "skit" on his morning show. You could feel the air leave the room after he said that dirty comment to "Junior". According to Steve, Junior had performed a "skit" instead of a funny antedote. He told Junior that there is a difference between skits and antedotes which is what Junior was hired to do. I was so livid that I sent Steve an email reprimanding him for his unprofessional behavior. He should have told Junior this information off air, not in front of millions of listeners. I also think that Steve got his new talk show because there is an "air" of ignorance when he communicates with the audience. He isn't as polished unless he has his morning crew with him. But, I am still very happy for his success.

I don't hate HIM, I hate his actions like acting like he knows all about women when he was cheating on his wife and then calling anyone who don't respect his opinion as ignorant. Plus he's a big teethed, big lipped bastard. Big difference. Sorry if some of y'all don't like it but that's my opinion. shrug

And PLEASE don't call him Stevie, that's an insult to Wonder and Nicks... lol

mushy

I think he is a buffoon.

I love how he called out T-Pain on the bufoonery of a cartoon show he had when he's acting like a loud-mouthed ignorant ass motherfucker on a daily basis.

And if you are going to use big words Steve Harvey, please know how to pronounce them. neutral

Pretty much.

Not surprised he would be that ignorant on air, Jamzone. I'm one of the few that believed he set Katt up for their comedy "showdown" and then once Katt accepted it, he backed down and made Katt mad. Again fuck that big teethed, big lipped bastard...

I didn't realize that he had called Katt out. Steve already knows that he isn't as funny has other comedians. I think that is why he has "retired" from stand up. Nephew Tommy's pranks are funnier than any of Steve's characters or material. Even in "Kings of Comedy", D.L., Ced and Bernie was fresh and raw, Steve's characters and skits are tired. I do admire his hustle though, but he just isn't funny. His timing can be off at times.....

Yeah Steve's the one that called it a "comedy championship". Katt took one look at the word "championship" and said "oh if that's what it is, so be it, I'll love to demolish you in Detroit (where it was held)". But then Steve became a bitch and said "no this is just a get-together for the two of us" and he and Jamie Foxx and his goons tried to make it seem like Katt was a nutcase (well there's instances I would think Katt was not there 100% but still...) for that event so that's why Katt went on the attack on Steve the way he did that night.

Yeah I get bored with Katt quick though he does have his moments. Steve was all pissed Bernie got to be in Oceans Eleven and basically thought he was better than Bernie. He said this on air. After Bernie got word, he refused to speak to Steve again.
