I was reading a recent story about Floyd Mayweather and Ray J going to a strip club and throwing $20,000 at the strippers there.

I looked up their ages and Floyd and 35 and Ray J is 31. I'm sorry, I find this incredibly bizarre -- that a man would grow in age but not in sexual refinement.

I can understand if they went to burlesque shows -- because burlesque is fucking art, okay?!

It is elevated and elegant, I think burlesque is quite beautiful. And let's face it, people are not pouring liquor on the Burlesque performers and throwing singles at them.

To me the whole culture of the strip club is low, BASIC, ugly, cheap and trashy. Seriously, throwing dollars at women? And then the women pick them up from the floor? How does this not make both parties feel like shit. This is some degenerate shit.

I can understand going to strip clubs in your 20s. Sex is still new. You're kind dumb to the multi-dimensions of sexuality, and the idea that it can be elevated and beautiful. So, gutter trash sex is titillating.

How is gutter sex attractive for a grown ass man?

Only thing I can think is that their minds are stunted and that they really haven't developed any meaningful thoughts and identity when it comes to sexuality. They are just dumb members of a herd following the crowd.

It's not just Floyd and men. Women can be guilty too. I know on RHOA, Kandi Burruss is 36 and she cannot live without having a naked male stripper swing a dick in her face at a social gathering.

I just don't understand how at 35, 40 or 50, one has the same sexual mentality they had at 20. Will Floyd be 65 and still at the strip club? Will you?

Makes sense.. but that was when you were young and bonding with the buddies was the point of going to the strip clubs... even to get your laugh on and tease the one of your buddies because of his reaction.

But when a man is in his 40's + ??? Like you mentioned, you got bored and left. Most guys who are savvy and smart may find some chick swinging on a pole boring after the first 5 minutes IMHO, so I think dudes who like to hang out in places like this do it because mainly they need a little ego stroking? You're focusing on needs and I get that...but this strip club context sort of negates anything about being decent and human. I don't understand how people are so desensitized to the atmosphere that they actually find it entertaining.

To answer, I don't know if it's "mental delays" or what, like Col Angus said, there's other places men can hang out, if you go there all the time, you stand a chance of being bored with it.

I suppose it provides the older men with an opportunity to interact with younger women. Not to mention they get to interact with them in a way that's sexual. Or they might be just turned on by big breasts, women wearing heels and sexy outfits or just watching them dance. To be honest, sometimes I go to regular clubs and just watch the women on the dance floor for hours. No need to go to a strip club as that's more of my own thing, ha.

But yeah, I'm quite against strip clubs myself (I haven't been to one since I was 20, although I've known a few strippers personally). At least there should be some sort of laws that regulate how much the women get paid for doing it. It seems like most of the women in those clubs these days are rather poor, uneducated immigrants as well. Many just start working as prostitutes as they can get more money that way.

there are so many reasons why a guy would visit a titty bar... he could be bored, or lonely.

People in the strip clubs, whether they are dancers or patrons all are there for the business of desire/sex/fun. Things we all enjoy in some form or another. You will see rich men, poor men, young and old... heck even women from all walks of life enjoying strippers dance. Some clubs are classier than others. I am pretty sure those upscale burlesque clubs attract many well to do patrons who have Puritanical mindsets and excuse it since they feel its not skeevy if the lady is a talented performer who is more subtle and endowed with an amazing face to match her perfect body.
