I love the original from 1987.I hated the sequels. I liked it better than the first Die Hard. The villian was so bad ass.

You're bloody right! That is a lame, generic piece of shit costume. The original silver one was very distinctive and they're fucked it right up by not sticking to it! Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

After Basic Instinct Verhoevan would've been silly not to do another salacious Eszterhas script. Showgirls is by far the best of his I've seen.
This remake'll be complete shite, sanitised and with cgi effects it'll end up resembling Transformers more than the original film.

ROBOCOP IS MY ABSOLUTE NUMBER 1 FILM. I know some people will be disgusted im sure, but I saw it at 7 years old in a heavily edited form and eventually was shocked beyond belief to realise just how violent it was when i saw the uncut version, especially the region 1 criterion Directors cut, but that's one of the key aspects of the film and the make up effects from Rob Bottin are unbelievable. Granted the visual effects are dated as this was one of the last few movies to utilise stop motion. Nonetheless, the storyline, the characters and the satirical European view points are all key factors in making Robocop one of the greatest most unique Sci fi action movies. All the above, I think will be lost in this soulless reboot.
