In light of the debates, I'm expecting to see several Big Birds, women in binders, and horses and bayonets in NYC this year! smile

Last weekend I spend hours creating my silver medal out of air-dry clay. My dumb ass didn't think about how complicated it would be to carve around the letters that read "XXX Olympiad London 2012" so that they in bas-relief to the rest of the medal. It took forever, but I think it looks good. I'm waiting for the clay to dry before I paint it silver. I'm hoping the paint doesn't diminish the detail on the clay.

Awesome! One of my FB friends recently posted photos of herself and her spouse as Day of the Dead / sugar skull ghouls.

thumbs up!

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

For my first post I thought I'd share a pic of my costume with you all. I ended up winning two contests. Everything was purchased from various thrift stores.
