I really hope those at LucasFilm are playing close attention to the mistakes of modern blockbuster!

It looks like they've made the right choice for writer so far though! Still optimistic

I just saw it today and while I don't think it was a bad movie, I get why folks are saying it wasn't all that great a "Bond movie"...like you didn't feel the Bond "umph".

I agree with you that the plot got a bit lost in the middle of the movie. For instance, he was supposed to had been off his "A game" after he got shot, being that he failed all of his preliminary tests to be a reinstated agent, however, by the end, all of sudden, he got his mojo back? It was as if those failed tests had never existed at all.

I was shocked more so that the Bond girl in this movie was sort of weak and didn't last but what, two or three scenes tops? Where were her balls at? Aren't the Bond girls supposed to kick just as much ass as Bond does in the movie?

I loved Naomie Harris in this, just wished she had more screen time.

I also loved Javier Bardem. His mannerisms had me dying laughing in almost all of his scenes. Especially when it looked like his dick had gotten hard and was ready to rape Bond in that chair.

Daniel Craig was looking fuckable, as always.

Now see I'm torn, part of me wants to see this based on the previews, but I've never been able to appreciate any of the Bond films and I've tried to but I always come up flat about them, so I'm skeptical. Some say it's good, but then they say it's the best of the Bond film. Again I don't seem to like Bond movies. Now Azz with his comment on it's like Home Alone, I'd be so pissed if I see it the same way. There are a ton of movies that get marked as good that I found a waste of time, then some I really enjoy. I'm not really hot for Craig whateverhisnameis, so there's no draw there, he's cute just not my thing. But non-Bond fans seem to like it too. I'm so torn.

Don't go see it based on previews, go see it for yourself to form your own opinion. You may just enjoy it. Everyone's tastes are different anyway.

Javier Bardem is a good actor. I just don't think his character went anywhere nor was his backstory revealed particularly well.

The bond girl was stunning as well, what a shame.

bond was seething when he saw her there! he did not join a toast to the 'women we love', instead he gave silva a look like, u fucking wankerknobhead.. bond stayed composed, stiff upper lip & all.. & in true bond style when she was killed he made the quip to relax them enough so he could wipe them all out seconds later!
