You already know you are going to buy it without even knowing what it can do???
You must really want one because you have posted more times in this thread than anyone else.
I'm about to change my phone, and I haven't ruled any brand out. I'm waiting to see what the new models offer.
I'm not anti apple (My desktop is an iMac), but I'm amazed how blinkered and caught up some people are with a mediocre spec'ed phone and severly restricitive eco system. To a point where thety say they will queue for the new one without even knowing if it offers anything new.
If Apple knock the ball out of the park with the iphone 5 next week, I'd consider it, but the rumours aren't great.
The Samsung, on spec, looks a cut above, and I've used android jellybean and think they have finally got everything just right (I thought previous versions were still playing catchup with IOS).
On the other hand, the new Nokia/Win 8 phone announced yesterday looks the best thing on the market bar none. Win 8 makes Android and IOS look extremely dated. The live tiles are functional and fresh. Coupled with the new PureView camera, wireless charging, NFC, Augmented reality, sat nav and a reasonably free ecosystem, I'm very tempted. It just feels odd coming from the old warhorses. But it looks the best, and being vurually scratchproof, it will suit my lifestyle.
I'm waiting to see the google/motorola RAZR. If its a samsung clone, it won't interest me much, but if they pull off a clam shell smart phone, then I'll take a look, because to me, the form was always best for filling in my jeans and holding to the ear. These slab smart phone are getting too bulky.
The Iphone 5 is considerably bigger than the 4 (as it the Galaxy and Lumia), and thats a negative for me. But it all depends on whether you use it as your main internet access, which I dont.
Either way, I'm lookng forward to choosing, rather than just accepting the next version from the same old brand.
But if I get an iphone, my kids will rib me, because according to their school playground, they are now official "uncool".
