I was playing around with the iPad, and decided it was the new thing that I did not need.

Pretty awesome, but pretty pricey. Today I saw the google Nexus. Half the price of the old iPad, and not nearly as heavy.

after getting an iPhone, I have been sold on the Retina display, but the Nexus has a really nice display, too.

Anyone own one, or something else they would like to talk about?

Or relationship troubles? Purplejedi, you have a new camera, I think?

iPad. I prefer to use my laptop. My kid uses it.

I think its cool that alternatives to iPad are emerging. Number one, it keeps Apple on its toes but more importantly no one size fits all, the more alternatives in my opinion allows everyone to find something they can use and/or fit their budget. What does the Nexus tablet offer interms of apps and options?

Other than that, I bought my first digital camera, a DLSR camera; finally retired the 35mm.

I was really surprised when I went to Vegas to see people carrying around their iPads taking photos and videos. Whatever works, I guess.... Took the pic of my camera with my iPad 3.

i type on my ipad because i mainly use it in bed. it's beginning to suck though.

nah, most of my music won't fit on my ipad: it's a 16 gig.

all of my music is in the cloud though.

I just bought the 16gb google nexus 7 2 weeks ago. So far I love it!
