LOVE OR MONEY

When WOMEN are trying to find a man why do 99% of women always list attributes they want:

I'd like a man whos blah , blah,

AND SOMEONE WITH A BIT OF MONEY ?

Whats up with that? Shame on you.

you don't have much money, do you?
lol
just kidding!!
I think it's pretty lame for someone to care about wallet size or bank accounts when it comes to love.

I kid you not- in the Independant Newspaper in the UK, (a respected broadsheet paper) there was an article by a women in the weekend edition.

The female author basically was writing about the mertis of giving your boy friend a 'hand job'- I kid you not!
She wrote about a certain technique/method and also some of the emotional reasons for doing it for your fella.

However, she finished the article by saying something like, and as he relaxes ready for sleep don't forget to mention that expensive coat you saw in blah blah that you wanted. Wink wink to the girls.

Whats up with that? Why do women feel big clever and loved just because someone spends money on you? Is it about control of your man?
Whats up with that? Is marriage just institutional prostitution?

Women have issue. Good grief!

There is a gentleman who is interested in me. He's a nice enough guy, has a good job, his own home, a new truck, etc, etc. The problem is I don't love him. My family and friends think I am crazy for not taking advantage of the situation. See, that's the problem, taking advantage. I wouldn't want someone to do that to me. I may be a cynic when it comes to a lot of other things, but I still believe in love. I want to fall madly in love with someone and marry my soulmate. That is more important to me than pieces of paper.

REDFEATHERS

Jumping back a generation, that was kinda common practice for women to marry into money..nowadays it is not as more women are more career led.

My Mum didnt marry my Dad for money - he had none lol but he had ambition and drive, which I think is more important than money. Of course there is love etc etc, but we are not really talking about that here.

I think women of today who do go for the size of a mans wallet are insecure blood sucking sad cases, cos they havent made anything of themselves. That is my opinion only, some can be really lucky and I will be happy if they both marry for love but I would prefer to be financially independant and not have to rely on a man to buy my shoes...

hmm SHOES!!! eyepop Hmm...on second thoughts...

lol j/k
