Haven't seen one of these in a while.

Anyhoo....here is my outfit de jour:

I can't find my little black sandals online....but tonight I am going to change into these boots.

And I can't find the shoes online. But they're faux suede ankle boots w/a chunky 3-inch heel.

It's fall!!

shorts and a t-shirt. It is still Summer here.

Our weather is all over the place lately. We had a high of 95 (35 C) on Wedensday but only about 68 (20) yesterday and the mornings are around 55 (13). It's going to be a bit warmer this weekend and then closer to the high 60's (18-20) next week.

The top is light, though. And the sleeves only fall to the elbow.

Yeah, it's pretty much the same here. It's a bit annoying this time of year. A couple more weeks and it will be sweater and boots weather...I love that.

Today, I'm wearing a drab, military-green short-sleeve dress shirt, faded Mavi jeans, and brown dress shoes, with fun, kinda-brownish socks I bought at the MoMA store a while back. I'd never been excited about socks before until I found a bunch of happy socks at MoMA and I bought several pairs in different colors.

But! This is not the outfit that I wanted to wear today. Last night I tried on an old shirt that I hadn't worn in years and I was finally able to fit into it again. Huzzah! My excitement over that was mitigated, however, by a this-has-been-hanging-in-the-closet-too-long mustiness. As soon as that baby's washed, though, I'm totally gonna be rockin' that red shirt.

I'd join in more, but I have that weird habit of buying 5 of the same thing and wearing it every day like a uniform, so I'm pretty useless

A. Why do you cut and paste every item? Wouldn't be simpler to just take a picture of yourself, like everyone else does?

i'm wearing my parrot and the oak peg leg. i jazzed up the peg leg with some red sequins i nicked from this lady's dress and i've draped a faux-seaweed shawl over the shoulder where the bird ain't standing. i'm thinking the silver hook for tonight? is this too shiny?

I made this top last winter, so I'm wearing it today with my pirate boots (for Talk Like A Pirate Day).

It's made of sharkskin denim and the bias-cut ruffles have raw edges I roughed up with a wire brush (so they frayed upon laundering). It was a pain in the ass to make, but the finished product is awesome.
