Congratulations to the legendary coach, who calling it quits after 26 years and 3 national titles at UConn. Calhoun started with nothing and turned UConn into a basketball powerhouse, winning championships in 1999, 2004 & 2011. He sent 27 players to the NBA. He will be succeeded by former NBAer Kevin Ollie. [Edited 9/13/12 16:16pm]

I figured he'd retire soon, with his health not being that great and the trouble that the program is in with the NCCA, now was the perfect time to call it quits.

He deserved a rest after all the work he put down for his team.
