Why don't they make socks for people with rough feet? I keep getting holes in them and it's really irritating. ![bored2](/i/s/icon_bored2.gif) |

Good idea. I'll borrow the neighbor's cheese grater. Not using mine! |

I like the goldtoe socks... they last longer.
But yeah lotion your feet (heels and pads) with a heavy cream or vaseline. Powder your toes and keep nails well trimmed and buffed, this way it will cut down on your toes tearing through your socks.
![smile](/i/s/icon_smile.gif)
At night try Epsom salts and soaking the feet then slouthing off the rough dead skin off with a pedi-egg thingy (cheese grater made for your feet) ... then smearing vaseline on the the heels on the bottoms of your feet then cover with socks to moisturize overnight.

I love my ped egg. Just gave myself a pedi this evening too. That ped egg saves lots of $$$$$ no more pedicures! ![woot!](/i/s/icon_w00t.gif) |

It's funny cuz it's true. ![lol](/i/s/icon_lol.gif) We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

I bought one (the Dr. Scholl's kind) and didn't like it. I also don't like the callous rasps you can buy. But I do like the Dr. Scholl's Swedish file. You can use it dry (which I think works better than any of the products you have to soak your feet to use) and it has two sides - a coarse one for the first pass, and a fine one for a final buff.
Of course, the reason the file works well for me is that I don't wait until my feet are in terrible shape to use it. I carve out a little time every week to give my heels a quick sanding. It's just part of my basic routine.
Nothing works very well if you let it go until your feet are so rough that you can't even keep yourself in socks, fer cryin' out loud. ![lol](/i/s/icon_lol.gif)

Ebay! Or Amazon.com .... ![nod](/i/s/icon_nod.gif)
the worst part about having one of those is when you go in the bathroom and find your teen using it on his feet. I had a fit!
Sharing one of those is like sharing a toothbrush... so now I had to buy two new ones, so if you have other adults/teens in the house you gotta buy one for erraybody! ![mad](/i/s/icon_mad.gif)
They work well though. ![lol](/i/s/icon_lol.gif) |

He used your hygiene products without permission? You should have used it on his ass. |

He's a actually taking care of his feet...
I want to encourage that as much as possible , so I did get mad but I didn't yell. He knew I was upset, I could tell by the look on his face when I saw him.
I sighed and just said "Keep it.... but atleast use fresh a grater thingy and pad. "
So I bought a new one for me and extra graters and pad kits. Kids... this is what happens when you share a bathroom. ![shrug](/i/s/icon_shrug.gif)
