In high school I got A's and B's
In college I started out with a 3.8 and then discovered hot boys and fraternity houses. ...I still graduated with a 3.0...minus the ups and downs in between. I am an artist though so GPA really need not apply.

I got A's and B's throughout grade school and JH, but started getting C's, D's and F's through high school. But always the A+ in Advanced English. Now I'm disgustingly rusty. Oh shit, my hat done fell off

Mostly A's. However, I've found that once you've obtained a bachelor's degree, nobody cares what you did in high school. "In high school, time is meaningless. In time, high school is meaningless." Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

A's & B's
I was extremely active re: extracurricular stuff, as well. I received a buttload of awards during our senior awards night... Unfortunately, it didn't mean crap once I entered college! I mean, like, where is the sun?

she probably does something stupid like "applying herself" I know. Isn't it weird how doing well in school isn't cool until you're in college? I can't tell you how many times I got "brain" and "bookworm". Never "teacher's kid" though. Yeah, I probably would have made fun of you! Somewhat true, but you never know. Someone may go back and check the records Personally, I was an A-B student with AP classes. Tina (~!~)

In high school I got all A's...except for gym and Biology... I was one of those 'political' students who refuse to do the dissection projects, so I had my A lowered to a B...
grades were always pretty easy for me tho, I'm good at taking tests...

I graduated sixth in my class in high school.
I am more proud of my 4.0 in grad school. As an undergrad, I had a 3.6 GPA.

Since graduating from high school, I can think of only one time when I've needed to produce a copy of my high school transcript--one of the eight (?) law schools to which I applied wanted me to include it with my application. Even the state Board of Law Examiners, who conduct a pretty thorough background check as part of the bar admission process, didn't seem to want it. I just had to tell them where I went to high school and my dates of attendance. In fact, the bar application didn't even ask if or when I graduated. My college years weren't the best for me, academically speaking. Fortunately, I did well on the LSAT (Law School Admission Test), and so I was able to get into a decent law school and redeem myself there. The rule of thumb, at least in my profession, is to put GPA's on your resume if they're 3.0 or higher. (If a resume crosses my desk with a GPA missing, I assume the grades were intentionally left off because they're nothing great.) Since I managed to graduate from college with a 3.01 (talk about cutting it close!), I do put it on my resume. I've gotten some questions from interviewers who are curious about why my law school GPA is significantly higher than my college GPA--for most people, it's the other way around due to the grading curves used at most law schools. Ugh, highschool I was too bust partying. I didn't do well at all. But once I had to PAY for school things were different. I graduated college with a 3.8, which I'm very proud of!
