these are the ones that I cannot & will not ever see any movies by these people, no matter how good the movie may be:

- Betty White

- Lindsay Lohan

- Channing Tatum

- Justin Timberlake (& dont even bother going back to music. Just stay away...completely)

- Kirsten Stewart

- Jessica Biel

- Will Ferrell

- Any of Will Smith's family (except Will Smith whom I love)

edited- because I forgot Matthew McConaughey. He plays the same characters every time & I just don't find him attractive at all and his southern accent sounds fake

I have a pretty limited interest in movies in general. Most of them are just filled with people I don’t care about doing things I’m not interested in. It’s rarely an actor that causes my interest to wane, but the style of the movie. If movie star X made a movie in a style that I enjoyed, I’d watch it. I’d rather do anything else in the world other than watch a Jim Carrey comedy, but I’m OK with Eternal Sunshine (though I think I probably would have liked it more with a different, more restrained actor). I would rather die than sit through a Julia Roberts rom-com, but put her in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and I have no problem with her.

James Woods is one ‘quality’ performer who really turns me off. Lots of perfectly sensible people love James Woods, but I’ve always found his look and personality slimy and reptilian. That said, I like Videodrome and Virgin Suicides just fine and if he’s made others like that I’d watch them – so again that’s not a case of absolutely avoiding him, but his presence can be a tipping point for me.

He's an idiot and he can't act. He's not even able to speak clearly, in german we say "Er nuschelt". Horrible.

The funniest thing is that he thinks he's an intellectual:

Only person I can think of that fits this bill for me would be Tyler Perry shake

Sadly, my mother likes him, so I've had to decline several movie dates with her.

Tyler Perry did not stop me from watching Star Trek. smile

Also gotta say Kristen Stewart.

I see the Twilight movies, yeah, I know...guilty pleasure, but I saw Snow White and the Huntsman and Lord help me she was so horribly cast for that role. I won't see any un-Twilight related movies of hers.

couch

I liked Into the Wild. And The Runaways movie wasn't bad. Kristen was a good Joan Jett.

It's not the actor, it's usually a type of movie that I avoid and it's also usually the same group of actors that appear in these movies.

It's those fluff movies, like the ones Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston tend to be in that I avoid.

But I'll watch anyone in a movie that is great.

Keira Knightley. I don't actually despise her - I just think she's overrated and overexposed.

I liked her in Bend It Like Beckham. I just don't buy her in all the serious costume dramas she's done. And I resent her (irrationally, I admit) for that awful remake of Pride and Prejudice.

...for a different number of reasons: you don't like the kind of movies they usually make, you can't stand his/her face, you think they're assholes in real life, you think their acting sucks/is overrated, whatever)

...you can also include actors/actresses that single-handedly ruined a good movie, in your opinion...to the point of ruining any chance of re-watching the film...

(inspired by Jedi's Good Movies You Refuse to See)

my list

ACTORS

-Dennis Quaid

-Dean Martin

-Justin Timberlake (rolleyes)

-Brad Pitt

-Rob Lowe

-Billy Zane

-Joseph Fiennes

-Jude Law

-Brendan Frasier

-John C. Reilly

-Adam Sandler

-Michael Rappaport (barf)

-Benjamin Bratt

-Oliver Platt (barf)

ACTRESSES

-Meg Ryan

-Meryl Streep

-Joan Crawford

-Juliane Moore (ugh! and she starred on The Lost World sigh why?)

-Bette Davis (sorry, but no)

-Megan Fox

-Rachel Weisz

-Catherine Z Jones

-Jodie Foster (everytime I want to buy The Silence of the Lambs I remember she starred on it neutral)

and I'm sure I'm forgetting somebody "relevant"... confused

your list?

johnny depp.

ill

which sucks since i am absolutely in love with everything tim burton does lol

so that means i have to watch johnny depp. it's so hard for me to watch him

that i can't stomach more than one movie with him in a year.

don't know what it is. the man is a good actor, he choses great or at the very

least very interesting films most of the time. yet, i hate him. can't stand the

sight of the guy.

oh god yes! although i don't dislike him and from a certain angle, in a certain kind of light

he's totally hot. but his movies are just one endless stream of the same role with just the

slightest difference in storyline. he's a 'character' but he's no actor.

the same goes for a lot of actors these days who always play a certain type of character

instead of being able to adapt to any environment and be a chameleon.

like keanu reeves. falloff "neo", "constantine", alien dude from "day the earth stood still"

etc. always the same type of role. same face, same expressions, same delivery. etc etc...

Kevin Hart (Like nails on a Chalk board, a poorman's Chris Tucker)

Justin Timberlake (Should not be in any movies, not even good at music)

Samuel L. Jackson (was cool at first now he's in everything. Tired of hearing how writers say when creating a Character we had Samuel L. Jackson in mind. If there was Strawberry Short Cake the movie I would not be surprise to see him in that.)

Tatum Channing (boring)

Sandra Bullock (Seen one Sandra Bullock movie seen them all)
