For those who were talking about lifestyle choices contributing to this passing... you are so wrong.

My mom had hip surgery 2 months ago.. and 2 months to the day she got 2 pulmonary embolisms.

We were FORTUNATE and BLESS that she didn't die like Christian did. PE is so dangerous and can happen for any number of reasons.

God bless his family. What a shocker this must be for them.

thanks prodigalfan. that is a comfort to read. We are indeed shocked and left wondering what we could have done to prevent it. From what I understand, it happens as you said, something dangerous and unpredictable.

For whatever reason, it happened and now we must lean on each other for support to deal with it. Christan was loved by many for the man that he was. A beautiful soul that left us too soon.
