I enjoyed the first episode way more then I thought I would once I found out about the "mentors" twist, sucks that Jodi is gone already but with this game you always should expect the unexpected, lol!!

BTW what was Dan thinking picking both Danielle and Kara? I didn't get his first two picks at all.

Rob Cesternino (Survivor all-star) does a great BB podcast and live aftershow on his website. Did a post-eviction interview with Jodi and - yeah - it's a shame she's out. In the same episode, he and a fantasy-football expert break down the coaches' draft picks and agree with you about Dan:

This is my first season watching Big Brother after Dark. It was a good time to start since I love Janelle and Britney. If I had 24 hr live feeds I'd probably never eat or shower. I wish there was a podcast about BBaD, I have to much knowledge about what's going on in the house to listen to just reviews of the first episode, even though I love Cesternino and his Survivor podcasts.

I have the 24/7 feeds and I know what's going on but I still listen to Rob's show just to hear what his and his guests opinon's are. Same with this annual thread that Ace does every BB season, it always intresting to see what people's thoughts are that just watch the CBS show.

I'm liking the twist so far, they picked a good set of newbies and the four mentors are cool.

It's weird seeing Janelle in the house without the Sov's and Boogie in the house without Will

So far they've been doing what the coaches want but that could change in an instant.

I stumbled across the news on SuperPass (I watch the commentary shows and Flashback - once they're old enough not to spoil the CBS show). Won't discuss it here until Sunday night (as per the thread title).
