Exceptions to this:

1) A wedding, where the bridal party is expected to make an entrance. The bride's parents are usually the host and hostess of a wedding, so this is not a problem.

novabrkr	Childish. Actually this thread reminded me of one of the reasons why I've drifted apart from several of my best friends from half a decade ago.

I'm going to re-create it for Halloween; at least, the cape part. I'm not going to be Prince but I will have a flowing cape!
