^ It's sad ain't it?
I just can't fathom anyone leaving their child inside a car whose temperature can rise up to 140 degrees. Just sick. |

I thought about this thread earlier today. I came home, pulled in to the garage and took a few bags in to the laudry room. It was right inside the garage door and I could hear my son yelling MOM, MOM! I have never ever forgotten about him for a second especially not in the car. He never lets me forget about him.
I just cannot imagine how terrible she must feel. During the Summer we usually hear about a few dogs and kids being forgotten in the car or left in there while running in to the store.
People do not think about how hot the inside of a car gets.

Even that, I wouldn't even leave anything in the car if I know the temp would self destruct and harm someone or something in it. Some of my dad's CD's get crispy after it stays out in a car with a lot of heat. So if a CD malfunctions, imagine what it does to a child, especially an infant or someone between 1-5 years old? |

I once left a kid in a car seat at the supermarket... i got to the door of the store and it hit me! I ran back, she was fine. It was fall and 9 PM. So it was like 70 out. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

Okay forget it being hot out. I can't fathom leaving a child in a car at any time. Winter, summer, spring, fall. You come back from shopping in December and your child is gone and next you find out he or she is in some sex-slavery ring and damaged for life or raped and dead. You just DO NOT leave a child in a car alone or anywhere else alone for that matter. "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack |

I have never ever left my child in the car. Never even would cross my mind even if I was going to be 2 mins.
I can be forgetful too, like with my keys or handbag....never my child.

Seems to be a damned trend lately. All these stupid people. How the hell do you leave a baby in a car? When I had little ones, they were the first in and first out. Focus was always on them, they were central to everything I did, and central to way I did it. If I went shopping with them, I would immediately bring them in the house when we got home and make sure they were in a safe space and then go back out for my groceries with monitor in hand--you know, i brought them inside immediately so they couldnt end up running in the street or kidnapped while I was bringing bags to my kitchen
People are dummies and lack common sense. How the hell do you forget a baby? How the hell do you get out of your car and just not remember somebody who depends on you for life iteself? The only one I feel for is that poor innocent child she carelessly murdered. Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. |

“Think of your parked car as an oven,” says Jennifer Tolle, executive director of Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina and co-chair of the NC Child Fatality Task Force. "Your car becomes like an oven in a matter of minutes on a hot summer day. You should no more leave your child in the car, even with the windows rolled down, than you should allow your child to sit in the oven in your home.”
In Charlotte, some woman left her two kids crying in the car about two weeks ago, while she shopped. A customer told management, and they called the police. |
