My definition of Europe extends from Portugal to Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Russia east of the Urals and Scandanavia, Iceland, Malta and Cyprus. I do exclude Israel, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan as they are more typically Asian countries

I'm guessing you mean Russia west of the Urals, as Siberia is the only region east of the Urals.

How long does your family have to have a presence in Europe to be of European descent? Since the days of the Roman Empire there have been non-White, non-Caucasian people living in Europe.

The countries you exclude are for geopolitical, not racial classification reasons. The definition of Caucasian includes people who aren't 'white.' Caucasian is not about merely skin tone as you seem to imply. You simply want to exclude them for your purposes.

I was in a bar yesterday and suddenly they were playing Falco only! All the old Falco stuff and even my favourite song of his "Ganz Wien" (a song about how fucked up but still stylish the drug scene in Vienna is).
