Oh my Miley... I think I'm in love now...

Is she getting desperate trying to meet Radiohead or something?

she's trying so hard....

It's the typical "child star rebellion", me thinks...

I actually like the haircut. I wish I was still young enough to rock something like that.
It's too bad she felt the need to fry her hair in the process, though. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I actually think it makes her look hot. I was never a fan of Miley but I think she's tired of being looked on not only as Hannah Montana but also (just maybe) as Billy Ray's daughter. You can quite tell actually. Now people think she's the new "Britney". Fuck that. [Edited 8/15/12 9:53am]

Ex-Moderator | The 90's must be in finally. Flannel, nose ring, bleached hair. I pretty much rocked that exact look once upon a time. |

I was thinking about that.
Makes me feel OLD AS HELL.

I hate nose rings. | |

I don't care for them, either - which is why I've never gotten one.
But then, I only have one hole in each lobe and no tattoos - so I'm hopelessly square when it comes to that sort of thing. I always just felt it would look silly on me.
If I want to do something "out there," I do it with my clothing. I can always take that off if I decide I don't like it.

She looks so much like Gewn Stefani. But she looks great! “The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously.”

Dear Lord, every other normal kid who doesn't have a full time job at 15 has been frying their hair and trying different looks for ages. Finally at a later age she gets to do it. Madonna tried a simular look once, with a nose ring and all. I think it is healthy that she is leaving what worked for her before behind.
There is nothing worse that a woman still trying to work a look that she has outgrown. Who wants her to be "Baby Jane" and keep trying to look like "Hanna Montana" forever???
She is going to make a lot of mistakes with her looks, EVERY STAR DOES, sooner or later she just might get it right. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

Okay, so it's not just me, because my reaction when I saw it was pretty much since it took me straight back to the early 90's

Ex-Moderator |
Short blond hair, check (roots and all). Bright lipstick, check (sadly I have no upper lip so you can only see the bottom). Hoop through nose, it's there, just a bad pic. No flannel, but I owned it. Big green hoodie instead. Please note the flannel elsewhere in the pic.
