So I'm watching some DVD's I had just laying around and I decided to watch this movie-WHAT A FUCKED UP MOVIE Already this guy has killed like four muthafuckas, basically pounds this chick on the stairs and I'm sitting here like I wanna take this movie out of the player so bad, but I'm curious if it can get anymore fucked up?

That is a twisted movie, it's supposed to be a condemnation of violence by being hyper violent. His first killings make him a hero because the guys he fucked up were scumbags who harassed the people in the shop after they themselves murdered the people at the motel. Each event that is to come become more ambiguous and less justified making you wonder if he was ever doing the right thing all along. A good movie overall, definitely worth an evening.

and I have the nerve to watch it again it really is very twisted

The first sex romp is meant to be fun because they're married, the next one is obscene to say the least, too animalistic and rape like as if he's purging himself of all the violence he's been involved with. The director David Cronenberg makes some great films, he's highly underrated.

Yeah it was pretty bad-bordering on rape I was like The director is good, but twisted

I really enjoy the movie, cause i have met guys who are the nicest people you have ever met. But as soon as some shit goes down they can become animals... with skills

Got to agree on the 2nd sex scene though.... i always wondered what the fuck was the point of that

It's definitely a disturbing movie and yeah I've met some folks who are jekyll and hyde too

Haven't seen this movie in a while, but as soon as I saw the title the first thing that came back to me was the sex scene on the stairs.

I don't remember thinking that the movie was terrible, just kind of...well...interesting. I may have to rent it from Red Box and take another look at it again.

Based on an equally good comic book.

Great performance from Viggo. Part of a solid one-two punch of History of Violence and Eastern Promises.

The point of the sex was to show, realistically, how much love and passion he has for his woman.

And the right people get their comeuppance in the end.
