I DVR'd "Hell on Wheels" to watch this. I should have done the opposite. Not impressed at all with True Blood this season as a whole. Even the season finale doesn't make me want to say "damn I HAVE TO WATCH THIS ONE!"...instead I'm
Bring on Boardwalk Empire!!! I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

awesome ep!! bill is off his fucking rocker! if andy doesn't step up 2 be baby daddy does this possibly start the fairy war?
so sad next week is the finale then i have 2 wait until next year ..well at least there is bill mahler man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

The fairy war looks to be building between vampires & fairies, imho. I'm thinking Maurella is going to mess Andy up a different way. Remember how Arlene mentioned, "You never know when a woman's going to curse you and everything you love," or something to that effect? If Andy doesn't step up, I think he will get a lesson about not backing out of a promise to a fairy and it will not be pretty. Man, next week is it. That is such a bummer. It seems to me that she's going to enlist his help in this whole war...
His choices are to piss off a fairy or a witch with angry teenaged sons.

I'm rewatching this now. I just saw Maurella tell Andy that to break his promise would be considered an act of war. Good catch O.G. And I'm sorry but Russell & Steve Newlin smelling the fairy scent in the field, Steve getting zapped by the Elder fairy and Russell draining the Elder fairy and buzzing like a hummingbird on crack was hysterical. Exactly. And to be honest, we really haven't seen much of Lafayette this season. We've seen him, but what I'm saying is, this season it seems he had less screen time or something. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

yeah when steve stopped and said "oh mercy" priceless!
question tho, when the elder zapped jason into another realm what did that mean? cause in the final somehow jason gets into the authority building using his paramilitary training again hehehe
i wonder if the zap releases him from the glamour that russell put on him man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I get the impression that this "Warlow" character will interfere with Russel's massacring of the fairies.. Change it one more time..

I do miss seeing more of LaLa, but the show had to back down somewhere. LaLa, Arlene, Terry, Andy, were background characters in Season 1. The audience loved them and I'm sure a certain amount of screen time was in their contracts, so they where given storylines and more time.
I'm glad to see them go back to the background for a minute so more time could be spent on the other storylines. I don't want LaLa's journey to the background to be permanent by any means. He is one of my very favorite characters on the show and I'm really hoping to see him next week.
My speculation for next week is that Eric and Nora will end up at Fangtasia. Tara will tell Eric what happened with the beheaded sheriff and Pam. Eric will find that they will need backup so they'll all go to Merlotte's thinking they will find Sam, but end up with Jason and LaLa. Then Tara will have to interact with LaLa. Jason will come along to help Jessica and mayhem will insue.
