Well....I'm ashamed to admit that I watch Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Show is awful, the women are ridiculous and full of low self esteem and the guys, even worse...though I do think it depicts an honest picture of how dirty men can get while juggling more than one woman. The lies, the deceit, the going to the strip clubs with their homies and bragging about the hurt they are causing the women in their lives to satisfy their own ego. It's a hot mess and I honestly don't know why I sat up here and watched the whole entire season (the finale comes on tonight) after telling myself that I wasn't going to even bother watching this coonery show after the first episode.

The other show that I've vowed to stop watching after last night (and will DEFINITELY stop watching) is The Real Housewives of New Jersey. They keep going around in circles with the same fucking issues week after week. Just when you think they will go into another topic and the old vendettas have been resolved, it gets brought back AGAIN AGAIN AND AGAIN. The show has become stale as 6 month old cereal and each and every person on the cast try to act like they are perfect but are just all fucked up in the head. Especially them damn Manzo brats and their entire fucking family. To think when this show first aired its first season, the rumor was that they had mob connections...umm hell no. At least those with mob connects have actual LIVES and are interesting. I'm done with that fucking show. I'm dropping them just like I dropped BBall Wives.

I haven't watched it in a while now...but it was something I used to watch religiously.

The 15-minute long monologues for a 3-minute match kind'a turned me off though.

i started watching when rosie joined as i love rosie (though aknowledge she is cray-cray)

when she left, i thought "oh, thank god. i can stop watching the view."

then they announced whoopi was coming on, and now i am even more addicted.

but the quality was better during the rosie year. it was much more depth and politics and meaning. now its kind of reverted into a lot of "what purses will be the big seller this fall?" kind of shit with occasional depth.

but i cant stop watching because i love whoopi

something about reality shows fascinates me. I just love watching people interact, lie, pretend etc. It's a whole other level of engagement for me.

except for all the Real Housewives stuff, I really tried but I could never get into it. and surly Ryan Murphy had to go & put that NeNe woman on his shows.

but that said, there are some real qualitiy shows like AMC's The Pitch which was basically a real life Mad Men. I felt pretty smart just watching that!

Star Trek is great AND terrible. And I am including incarnations such as Enterprise, Voyager, etc.

I don't watch reality TV I did like The Real World, Survivor, and American Idol for a while, but those are not the worst shows on TV IMO

Yes I knew you were talking about ALL the Star Trek Series (They are great as well though season 2 of Enterprise was on remote control) ..... And yes The Real world is terrible.

The Real World hasn't been "real" since about season 3.

The first Real World was awesome, and boring b/c of it. But it was REAL.

Now it's just a bunch of star/model wannabes drinking, partying & screwing one another for the cameras.

That's what I was talking about. I haven't watched it in almost 20 years. It was bad in it's own way, but it was the original. A brilliant idea.

This! I can't stop watching even though they all piss me off so much. It's better when senile old Babs isn't there cause she takes fucking forever to get to the point. And don't get me started on when they announce a topic in the opening and don't discuss it.

I used to DVR it, come home from work, and spend the 1st hour unwinding- being totally mindless with "The View".

But between Sherry's stupidity and Barbara in general, I had to take it off queue. Rising blood pressure didn't contribute to winding down.
