Bomb threats have been called into several metro Atlanta Carmike movie theaters.

Threats have been confirmed at theaters in Canton, Snellville, Cartersville, Conyers, Hiram and Newnan.

Carmike Theaters said all of its locations in metro Atlanta have been checked and cleared.

Carmike director of marketing Terrell Mayton said the called identified themselves as an employee of a vendor used by the company. He did not comment on why the threats were made.

employee of a vendor called in the threats? a vendetta vendor? i don't get it. seems like movie theaters are becoming dangertainment lately
