spit Well the man is 66 years old. I'm sure his hair is either salt & pepper or full on grey. In one of the scenes where he's wearing a hat, you can see part of his side burns that was grey. So maybe he was having a bad hair day that day of shooting. lol

Yeah I didn't even know who that dude was, even my mom asked me "umm who is that?" I was like "shucks I don't know". lol Yet we only got 5 seconds of Jet Li throwing a few punches and some kicks, then basically said "dueces bitches!" and bounced. spit But on a serious note, I'm thinking his schedule may have conflicted with the filming schedule and that's why we didn't see more of him.

I'm watching "Fearless" right now to get my Jet Li fix in. lol

Well dayummmm! popcorn I didn't know they had beef like that. Interesting. Out of the two, I'll take Van Damme any day. Funny about what Sly said though. I would have loved for someone to had filmed that masterpiece and posted it on Youtube..but it didn't exist back then. pout

nod

And I love to hear him speak in his native language. drool

This is hilarious!

Speaking of 'expendable...' confused I wonder if people would flock to the theater to see a 'female' Expendables??? I mean, these woman kicked ass and took names and most of them look better than Sly and the rest (excluding Jean Claude drool ) What do you think??? I read somewhere that an idea for a script might be in the works. And if they don't make this why not have one or three of these ladies join the Expendables 3 cast??? thumbs up!

I would love to see this happen!!

Would have been nice to have a cameo with Cleopatra Jones (Tamara Dobson) but she passed away in 2006. sad

Anyone else you'd rather see? cool

I have a lot of respect for Uma Thurman in the "Kill Bill" movies, so I think she should be added to the list as well. Oh and let's not forget Lucy Lui. She's going to be in the upcoming RZA film "The Man with the Iron Fist" and looks like she's going to be kicking some ass all over the place. nod

I forgot about Uma. boxed I'm a fan too. nod I saw the previews for Man with the Iron Fist. Lucy looks amazing!

Oh yeah, forgot to say also, they were focusing so much on the young guy in the beginning, that I was thinking, wait this guy can't be all "too good to be true" as they are making him out to be. In the scene with Van Damme holding the guy hostage, I was so much under suspense that I thought the guy was going to turn around and reveal that he was really on Van Damme's team. That would had changed the movie's dynamics drastically. nod

The movie would had actually been better if they would had written that twist in.

If you really love Van Damme so much you should definitely check out JCVD. It came out a few years ago and is , in my opinion, one of his best, if not THE best film he ever took part in. It is a must-see movie for his fans but it´s also hilarious and very introspective if you are not a fan at all. It is a ficitional movie but he plays himself.

lol

I haven´t watched it yet and don´t think I´d pay money to watch it. I like Stallone as a person and I love some of his films ( the good ones are really brilliant) but Expendables and Rambo IV were horrible.

The first one had everything in it to make me hate a movie. Awful story, awful acting, bad dialogues, too much silly machismo, too brutal for the sake of being brutal, totally unfunny when they tried to be funny, and a bunch of alpha males that were the type of alpha males that I hate....those b-category alpha males types....those low grade alpha males. lol

Horrible. But I´d love to watch this one just to see HOW bad it is.

It boggles the mind why someone like Stallone, who is really not an idiot and made some good films in his career, makes some really idiotic films from time to time.

I have to chuckle when I see Rocky Balboa and Ivan Drago on the same team. lol

I wish they would have Dolph Lundgren's character not be so damn goofy. In fact, they should have had him be a villain instead. Dolph can play a better villain than hero, IMO.
