True Blood Season 5 episode 5.10 "Gone, Gone, Gone"

Sadly, we've hit the downhill slope of this season and have just three more episodes to go.

* bawl *

So, here we go. With a couple of storylines seemingly wrapped up, what will we see this week?

(Hopefully more naked Eric & Alcide...and okay O.G. Luna & Lilith just for you.)

As always, don't read if you don't wanna know.

From HBO, via www.true-blood.net

"Gone, Gone, Gone"

With vampire-on-human attacks increasing, the Authority attempts to woo public favor. Meanwhile, Nora tries to convert Eric to Lilith’s gospel. Jason finds a mysterious scroll; Elijah (Keram Malicki-Sanchez), the new vampire sheriff of Area 5, pushes Pam and Tara to obey a new mandate; Sam and Luna search for Emma; Russell seeks a higher calling. Written by Alexander Woo; directed by Scott Winant.

Final Rest in Peace Molly! Damn that sucked! I loved her!

Good way to wrap up things with Hoyt...for now...or always.

No Arlene or Terry this week. Good.

Lafayette...can't say enough. I love that gorgeous mother fucker!

* bawl * GODRIC!!! I think that just makes Eric more committed to fucking up Lilith and anyone devoted to her.

I loved Sam & Luna, but want that wrapped up yesterday so we can spend more time with Eric.

Final Rest In Peace New Area Five Sheriff. You were bad ass, but you met your match. Tits up Pam. Tara just set things straight. She was right, so fight for what's yours.

Poor Sookie. Gal cannot catch a break. Now she's been promised to Worlo (sp?), centuries ago. That sucks.

Im only half way through but youd think someone would tell Hoyt that moving to Alaska, a place that is dark for 6 months out of the year is a really really really stupid idea.

Im really starting to think that 6 feet under was a fluk and Ball is a sham. sad

Oh My I wonder what Bill may having been underlining in that bible he gve to Jessica, a plan of attack?

This is reaching daytime soap opera level of poor writing. sad

As soon as he said it, I thought: "30 Days of Night".

I have to be honest: "Hell on Wheels" was on at the same time, so first I had to decide which I was going to watch. boxed

I DVR'd both of them in case I fell asleep, but I watched "True Blood" first. I had to rewind twice, because my mind wandered.

This season isn't grabbing me the way the show did in the past. sad

I feels splintered, even though a couple of the storylines have been resolved.

At the end I thought, "How are they going to wrap everything up to leave a decent cliff-hanger with only two episodes?"

*SPOILERS*

I spend Mondays reading up on Sunday's True Blood episode geek and Jim Parrack, the actor who plays Hoyt has left the show. No drama, no bad feelings, his character was written out. The scenes with Hoyt, Jason and Jessica were some of my favorite last night. I really like how they had Hoyt move on and I agree with lazycrockett and chocolate1, I also thought of "30 Days of Night" when he talked about moving to Alaska. lol What I like though was that the character left on his own terms. He cut the cord with his mother and he wiped Jason and Jessica out of his memories, a clean slate. He wasn't killed, or left so pathetic and unlikeable that he can't come back, if at some time in the future, the story calls for it.

The next thing I'm noticing has me eek for Jason. In the spoilers for the upcoming episodes Russell has ended up at Sookie's house. Jason is there and Russell gets a rifle out of Jason's hands and then has Jason by the neck. There is also a glimpse of Jason and Jessica laying in a freshly dug grave, so I think *SPECULATION* that Russell kills Jason and Jessica turns him. eek

O.G. first, I don't think you'll see Jessica naked. I don't think it's in her contract as she always keeps lingerie on in all her sex scenes. Second, I also saw Andy's fae baby mama. I think that will be a cliffhanger for next season. Andy might see Maurella and her belly, be shocked, but not get to discuss her pregnancy with her.

Loved this episode!

Wasn't sure about this season when it started, but it's pretty good.

The scene with Jessica and Hoyt was really nice...and yes Tara, that's my girl! lol

The only one i can't stand his Bill, and he was my favourite

character. I know he's playing a game, but I don't like the way he plays it.

He's sneaaky and I wanted to smack his face when he showed Jessica around.

Could anybody please explain the ending with Sookie? Because of my english I didn't get it. What was in the contract???

robertlove, a distant relative of Sookie's promised his first born female child with fae traits to a vampire (Warlow) back in 1702 (IIRC).

Turns out Sookie is that first born female born with fae traits so, according to the contract, Sookie belongs to Warlow.

Also, I loved it when Russell said he was hungry and asked if anyone wanted to go out for a bite. Steve Newlin says yes and the topic of what to eat comes up. Russell says, "I'm in the mood for Greek"

Later, the two are dirty dancing in a college frat house after draining all the guys.

I thought that, too... But he did say he's 3000 years old. He probably reverted to his native tongue.

At first I thought that Bill was going to create a Lilith hologram from that control panel to convince Eric.
