All because of this apple headed, trash talking hood rat I guess those endorsement plans really backfired . Almost anyone who watches this show knows she's crazy , and they're shocked at this? Two episodes of watching it, I knew she was off.

He told her on the show that the only reason he was marrying her was for her box, and for the fact that she makes her own money. I guess it was supposed to be a joke, but you know behind every joke there is always some truth. In that same breath he joked that it sure wasn't her wasn't her looks that drew him in. Chad used to say some messed up stuff to Evelyn on camera, and this fool was just hell bent on marrying his ass anyway. Dummy.

He ain't never want to a marry that girl in the first place. If you look at all their onscreen interactions together, that "wish her well" is basically re-iterating his whole attitude towards their relationship every time you've seen them together which is basically " Bye, Bitch. Don't let the door hit you on your way out ".

One of the beauty blogging channels I subscribe to occasionally does commentary on news stories and tv show reviews. This is her take what's been in the headlines recently:

That's what a lot of women who think they're tough but can't actually fight end up doing in these situations. It's pathetic. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

I recall Jerry Springer making the observation about the differences between men and women guest on his show: He said, women would drop their purses in a minute and have at it, rock 'em/sock 'em. The men however would take one step forward and three steps back and still talke shit.
I watched the documentary on HBO did on fashion models post WWII to the early eighties last week. One of these women made a poignant observation she said, "I learned at an early age the camera can lie".
There's a big difference between reality TV and real life. (imo) The term "reality TV" is a contradiction in terms. These shows foundations are built upon degradation; there's always one or two people on these reality programs who's primary responsibility is to be over the top obnoxious. The mess is scripted that way. The Jerry Springers, Brideziilla, Basketball Wives, Atlanta Housewives, Jersey Shore; the lot of these shows depend on people acting badly or no one would watch. Especially shows built around all women, who are all to willing to act a damn fool for exposure and a couple of dollars. TV producers encourage this type of behavior that otherwise would get anyone fired, locked up, and/or escorted off the premises in handcuffs in the real world.
There was someone in the wings to grab her ass when she started cussing/kicking/screaming or yell cut when things got too hot and heavy. This has nothing to do with being tough... it was an act. A women questioned her man if he had been creeping because she found a receipt for a box of condoms. That's real, it hurts, and its humiliating.

Very true.
Which makes it all the more sad that she went into this knowing full well and publicly accepting his rejection of mongamy on national television during the course of several conversations. It was just foolish. I suppose she thought once they were married that the rules they set out would change, but I don't believe that open marriages are for everybody nor did I think she was ever that tough to withstand one, even though she goes on her "you ain't about this life" tirades to other women.
But one thing to keep in mind, is that this woman told her fiance on national tv, if you cheat, I need you to use a condom. She also told him in a previous conversation that she needed him to tighten up and try not to be seen publicly w/ women he was hagning out with- because she didn't want the tabloids going crazy so close to their wedding date. So she accepted it, before they were married, that this was going to be the modus operandi for how they were going to handle his libido issues. She asked that he simply let her know, so that she's not caught out there being bumrushed by the press. In that same converstaion, this fool actually told her that he also thought that if he sees a hot chick in the club, he wants to be able to bring her home...to their house (which, call me old-fashioned, but that just totally blows the mind), to which Evelyn's only response was, "but what if I don't like her " Before all of this, they had even cancelled their engagement because of his cheating a few times, until they came up with the bright idea that he was just not going top settle down sexually with just her, and she had better let him do what he wants if she wanted to get married. So it's very clear that she went into this eyes wide open because she is about that life. I guess after she was standing there taking those vows, she really caught feelings for her husband and the actual insitution of marriage, and then wanted to see her situation through rose-colored glasses.
Still, no hitting should have taken place, ever....and I'm just praying that with her own violent history (because this is a women who says when she sees red, that she just wants to go for a person's throat and see blood)---that she will not exploit what happened to her with Chad to suddenly become the face of domestic violence, because there would be some hypocrisy issues there for me. But...like you mentioned before, this whole making selling your soul for money trend with these shows...I have a feeling it might happen, and I question if it would come from a really sincere place- particulary as Lozada herself is often quoted as saying how she has to ride her 15 minutes for as long as she can, and take advantage of as much branding opportunities as possible before her time runs out.

Agree with all of what you said, however, I wonder since Chad headbutted her, that Evelyn NOW is going to be running back to Jennifer willing to become friends with her again (since Jennifer's reservations about her relationship with Chad actually rung true). I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Well the one thing we know for sure is that she most certainly has a new storyline to follow on the next seasonn of Basketball Wives.
Call me unforgiving, but if I were Jennifer, after all the times Evelyn went after me, popping me in my head, threatening me, standing up for her assistant smacking me, saying that she wanted to put everything on the table in Tahiti with her really just translating into her announcing my sexual history on national television, I'd just be like , uummmm, thanks but no thanks . this is the fool you tried to whoop my ass over because I simply said on a radio show I was concerned about you going down that road when asked about that stupid Twitter picture and ring.

I'm watching the episode now and dammmnnnn it sounds cold as ice watching how the coach was basically firing him. The way it was filmed, it seemed like coach was looking for a reason to fire him and the arrest was the icing on the cake. Can't believe they actually filmed this part though..shouldn't that had been done in private? Damn they boxed his shit up and everything. Almost feel a little sorry for him...almost.
Edit: I didn't realize Alex had posted the episode on the thread earlier...my bad. [Edited 8/17/12 15:54pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Jennifer Williams Praying for Evelyn Lozada After Dispute With Chad Johnson?By Christine Thomasos , Christian Post Reporter
August 15, 2012|11:32 am
Evelyn Lozada's best friend turned rival on VH1's "Basketball Wives," Jennifer Williams, has offered her prayers on Twitter after fans speculated about her feelings regarding the domestic dispute that took place involving Chad Johnson on Aug 11.Williams message comes days after Lozada was allegedly head-butted by her soon-to-be ex-husband Johnson which resulted in his arrest and the loss of their joint reality television spinoff show, "Ev and Ocho." While Williams decided against mentioning Lozada by name in her tweet, many fans took to Twitter to react to the message. "@iamjennifer for @EvelynLozada," one fan questioned. "That's very 'bigger person' of u!" Another person decided to re-tweet the message and assure Lozada that Williams loved her. "Yea she (does) love u @EvelynLozada lol," the fan tweeted. Follow us
While fans noticed Williams positivity, her ex-husband and former NBA player Eric Williams decided to take a different approach to the situation. Eric who appeared with Jennifer and Lozada on "Basketball Wives," took to his Twitter account to make light of the recent domestic dispute. Eric tweeted about creating a new reality television show centered around the lumps on he and Lozada's heads. While Williams has been the butt of many jokes because of the lump on his head that formed into a keloid after he was stabbed, he joked about Lozada's recent injury, months after she publicly feuded with his estranged wife. "Hey @EvelynLozada I bet that knot on your head (is) more shinier than mine," Williams tweeted. "Hey @EvelynLozada, lets do our own show, called '2Bumps you can't get enough.'" Some people encouraged Williams' remarks on Twitter, but others questioned if the former NBA player was being too hard on Lozada. While Williams had no problems speaking out about Lozada on the social networking website, Royce Reed, Lozada's rival on "Basketball Wives," insisted that the alleged domestic violence situation was not amusing. "FYI I don't bask in another person's misfortune. It's sad people think I'm laughing or amused," Reed tweeted. "I'm not. There's nothing funny about it period! #Human."
