Oh wow...never seen the film before...amazing, very moving...cried all the way through it (a girl needs a good cry sometimes!) Very apt for the times we are living in at the moment.

Michael Duncan Clark's extremely "dim-witted but goodhearted Negro" character was one of the most insulting roles I'd ever seen. And, I've seen a lot of them, unfortunately.
