Oh my, you do have lovely neighbors!
When I was going through a rough patch last summer, my neighbors next door kept an eye on me. They could tell I had lost so much weight and looked sick that they were concerned. Pam brought me plates of food to keep me nourished because I was too depressed to cook for myself.

Another customer let me cut in front of them. So, I didn't have to wait. (I had 1 item-they had like 50) 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

What are "chili sauce toasties"? They sound good. You make a cheese toasties in he sandwich maker like normal, except on top of the cheese pour out some chilli sauce - I used to buy maggi brand back in the 90s, it wasn't screaming hot or sweet. That's what I always had for dinner as a poor student. Also why I'd come down with every passing flu since I was pretty malnourished. I would suggest chilli sauce toasties in moderation and not a replacement for a balanced diet. I'm the mistake you wanna make

I do haveively neighbors.....they cool as shit....Buuuuut... ...two crazy people who live on first floor is CONSTANTLY banging on their door 2 buy $2, $3 , $4, and $5 pot transactionsat any time.too....2 am and pm....7 am.and.pm....3...am & pm..... He put a limit on them...nothing less than 20 but....problem with that....they never have $20...lol...sooooo...the bowl pitchers started getting mad... Last might, we were all chilling smoking on a bowl in the cool couples apartment.. cue up the "bang bang bang," aaaaand the " sell us some weed umuthafuckin fuckas!," as well as, "smoke us out BITCHES" NEEDLESS to say...cool dude finally lost is cool. And snapped. Opened door and yelled at the to shit the dick up, used some craft and degrading language on them and slammed the door in their face. The Green Grinchesches then commenced to spewing hate language and race language just outside the door....still banging in it.....talking shit and begging for weed simultaneously...it was bizzare. This is where it really went wrong....my cool neighbor was sooooo fed up....he finally called the cops on them....AGAINST my advice and the against the advice of EVERY guest. As he dialed the number, he also seemed to have allowed his open warrent to slip his memory. Cops show up and give them some stuff to put a restraining order on them and some other semi-legal stuff...and also, obviously ran cool guys I'D and discover his warrant and took him to jail...trouble makers didn't go to jail....but were in the verge of it when they openly and blatantly called the cop a racist. I was so mad that night....dude was only protecting his homestead, but got sent to jail cuzza some.foolishness he did 3 years prior....summin about a suspended license. Me and my fellow neighbors...we r all gonna work on, and find a way to, effectively, efficiently, aaaand gleefully evict Abraham & Sneha.... [Edited 8/5/12 0:00am]

My family members, relatives and members do nice things to me all the time. They're very generous when I visit them.

I've left the mindset of people doing good or bad things to me. We receive from people what we perceive to be getting from them.

I was once cleaning out old clothes to give away, but I put the really nice ones in a separate bag to offer to my neighbor's daughter and was hoping that if she didn't like them, she would give them back to me so I could give those particular ones to someone I personally knew, but they ended up giving that bag away to goodwill without returning it. I guess it's nice someone else is enjoying it now, but I had tommy jeans that became too big for me, some satin floral print shirts and stuff like that but they were still wearable and not so old.
Back on topic, I was not expecting this, but my friend bought me Russell Brand's Booky Wook. I've really taken a liking to him recently and we went nuts watching one of his movies this year after I helped her organize her apartment, and was not expecting anything at all from her, but she told me yesterday she got me something and said she thought of me....and though she knows I'm into MJ, I thought of Russell, went crazy and guessed it was the book. I was like OMG you didn't have to, I didn't do anything, but I guess I am flattered cause I was thinking of buying it at some point if not reading it online.

I know the feeling... Although I have been the recipient of some kind gestures, they sometimes seem few and far between my gestures, BUT it's not about looking for qualification and praise. If you're doing something from the heart, you don't look for anything in return, and you don't get your feelings hurt.

Why didn't one of y'all wrestle the phone from him or clock him one to knock some sense back into his head? It's a wonder all y'all weren't toted off to the hokey.

Shit I took off...went to my own apartment and locked the door. This was mostly surmised from discussion with girlfriend who told me what happened.

I love when someone sends me a book or CD I've recently mentioned. Not only is it such a nice gesture but it's so nice when someone really pays attention to your likes and dislikes My friend Janice always does this , if I mention some movie I'm dying to see but havent' gotten around to, she'll send me the DVD or call me up and invite me to come along when she goes
As for the clothes; that's a HUGE deal! People should do that more often for one another. It was nice of you to give to your neighbors daughter Girls love getting clothes- even second hand! As for me, I can't wait until my neighbor cleans out her closet again! In fact, they are getting ready for a big party next weekend and since she did that for me, while they were out of town this weekend, my boyfriend cut their grass for them free of charge to help with their upcoming party (and they have a HUGE yard) as a way to pay it back and pay it forward
