He's totally hilarious. He's currently got a book out in the US and he was interviewed by Katie Couric last week.
She didn't know what to make of him...

Sacha Baron Cohen aka Ali G is an incredibly funny guy, or he was before he went big-time and got crap. He was the highlight of the 11 O Clock Show on Channel 4 where he would interview unsuspecting politicians etc posing as the "Voice of Youth" (doing "serious issues" for a fake kids TV show). Fucking brilliant stuff. The Tony Benn interview was a classic. His own show was great too... the article about drugs... the FBI interview... really funny. Also, his other character Borat is very very funny also. The less said about Ali G nowadays though, and the movie... the better really! He should just let Ali G die and focus on Borat
