The Hobbit to be a trilogy??

http://www.heraldsun.com....6439448913

Looks like The Hobbit will be made into a trilogy, even though it is much shorter than the three books that made up Lord Of Rings, I thought a two part movie was a bit of a stretch! But the preview for the first one due out at Christmas looks really good, hopefully they will be able to sustain the quality over the three films.

I'm a Kiwi, and In Peter Jackson we trust. If he thinks 3 films is the best way to present the story, I believe him!

I agree, I have the Lord of the Rings book and probably more than half of the book doesn't make it to the film. Some interesting stuff especially the Brown Wizard

I would have loved Guillermo Del Toro to still have been connected to these films.

sigh

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

yeah he mentioned it some time ago at a some convention. But now it is offical.

I am fine with 3. Some call it a money grab. I say naww. He could have always released extended editions of the 2. Also some have speculated that 2 and 3 will have some back story... So manybe it will be cut like Godfather 2?

Either way the Hobbit is the only movie coming out this year I might see in the theater.

I just hope the 48 FPS works.
