Three men, an architect, a mathematician, and a government worker got together to brag about their dogs. Each though his dog was the smartest and had fantastic abilities. They decided to show each other what their dogs could do. The architect called his dog T-Square and gave him a piece of chalk and told him to draw a square, a circle, a triangle (isosceles), and the dog did each very accurately. The mathematician agreed that T-Square was a very remarkable dog, but said "I'll show you what a really smart dog can do." He called his dog Slide Rule and told it to go to the pile of cookies and bring him back a dozen, which Slide Rule did without any hesitation. "Now, Slide Ruled, separate them into equal parts." Slide Rule divided the cookies into four stacks of three each. They all agreed that this was quite a feat. Then the government worker said he had watched both their dogs do fantastic things, "BUT," he said, "Let me show you a really clever animal." He called his dog Coffee Break, and said, "Show them what you can do, boy!" Without hesitation, Coffee Break immediately ate all the cookies, screwed the other two dogs and went out on sick leave.
