i was chatting at steve hammer's prince chatroom, and he turned into a dickhead and shut it down. so we migrated over here in Dec 1996, shortly after the site first opened (as a base for the PPML mailing list). | |

My bro showed it to me around 1999 sometime. I remember getting REALLY involved in that online attempt to get Prince on TRL for his 41st birthday in 1999. Everyone chose to vote for "Dolphin," but Prince didn't make it.  | |

I actually thought it was kinda silly. I know there was a video made for "Dolphin," but did Prince ever submit it to MTV? They can't play what they don't have. "Dolphin" is a nice song, but it's an obscure album track that most non-fans have never even heard. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |
