Sounds like the boy is a bit young, but inter agal relationships can still work. Mine is living proof, I was 31 and he was 66 when we met, Now after 5 years we are still together and stronger than ever, he's 71 and I am 36 and the age gap means nothing now.

Just be sure the young guy is not screwing your friend over for money or status, if he's sincere and truly in love with the dude, be happy for them, and syupport him as he is your friend.

I'm baffled too, because, as a woman, if a guy anywhere below 30 even flirts with me, I shut it down quick (I'm 39) and to me, it just feels like they are kids.
