Raves/Parties. The real shit; in warehouses, dive bars, back alleys, barns, forrests and at the beach. Not in swanky ass, sparkly clubs.
The Grateful Dead.
Regular Aphex Twin releases.
Constantly discovering new music by buying a piece of vinyl just because it looked interesting. Now I learn about stuff online first and only buy what I really want to have forever.
Monthly Sandman and Cerebus comic books.
what i loved most about rave parties was the excitement of all the different locations they were at, and finding out ~ last minute where 2 go - some places were creepy, and then the cops would turn up!!!
the music was awsome and i loved the lighting 2!!!!!!! mailto:www.iDon'tThinkSo.com.Uranus |

OK, I've tried long and hard to think of things I miss, so here's some things from the 90s I DON'T miss
1) subzero® hangovers
2) all the indie bands where the singers only used vowels
3) those cassette player adaptors for cars so you could plug in your discman what a lot of messing around for a shitty sound!
4) shitty wages
5) ringing around the suppliers to locate all your syquest cartridges because those fuckers cost an absolute fortune I'm the mistake you wanna make |
