So who's thinking of getting one?

I'm still rockin' the S2 and I still love it, but my cousin just got one of these, and WOW, it's beautiful, responsive, ridiculously thin and so powerful. That Quadcore chip makes it run like a dream. Not to mention, it runs the world's most powerful and advanced operating system - Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The front facing camera even tracks your eye movements so the screen will never lock if you're looking at it.

It's apparently the most extensively pre-ordered consumer electronics device of all time, with a reported 10 million pre-orders before it even hit stores. Amazing. There's also a tie-in making it the official device of the 2012 London Olympics, so promotion is already everywhere.

As is usually the case, "the competition" are attempting to stifle this amazing gadget through lawsuits. Shame they can't innovate and make something good to beat it instead.

I am sched for phone upgrade, next month,(I'm with T-Mobile) I WILL be getting this phone.

I got one as I was due an upgrade. And yes, it is VERY good. I don't want to eulogise too much as it's essentially just a phone with add-ons but it is a very impressive device nonetheless.

Did u get it at a decent price, Forgotten? I to am due for an upgrade and I am looking to get this phone, but don't wanna pay wanna pay an arm and a leg for it.

I imported an international version of the S2 last year around release and love it.

The S3 looks sweet but I am torn as to which model to get this year.

The US version is a dual core 1.5 ghz so it loses the quad core processor but it will gain an extra gig of RAM for a whopping 2 gigs!

I am thinking of waiting it out for awhile because I am sure that there will be a 2 gig quad core released sooner than later.

I want a phone that has "voice command" so you say to the phone to call so-and-so.

I have an iphone 3G but it lacks the voice command thing

The S3 does have that. It's voice recognition is more powerful and yields better results than the one on the new iPhone, too.

Also, say you're texting someone and you decide to call them instead, you just hold the phone up to your ear and it'll start dialing them automatically, it knows from the motion what you want to do. Pretty neat.

I'm a samsung lover.

My subscription with provider is ending in autumn. I think I'll try to get this one then.

I want the pebble blue colour. Apparently cell phone providers are taking pre-orders.

Just got mine today and it's incredible!!
