Cheesy. Low point of the episode.

I agree! I sit there like, sometimes, trying to make sense of the "pieces". I love the books, but part of me feels like I shouldn't have read them.
Someone gave me the "Walking Dead" graphic novel links, and I won't go near them. I love that show too much... "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

Lame. There could have been other ways to introduce the fairies...
@ Freddy: What is up with you and Hadley? First, I had to think of what she looks like, and then I thought To each his own...

lol ..seperation of the mind is tough i can understand but it's like any other medium that either started from a book then turned into a movie/tv show and there will forever be differences man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I've been watching since the premiere first episode years ago. But these days it's hard for me to stay invested. I often let the show run while I do other stuff. If something interesting seems to have happened I'll rewind.
The quality of this show is so crazy, going from horrible schlocky syfy channel moments to actually interesting character bits. But it's the humor and comedy that really keep me interested. I dig Chris Bauer, and the laughs at Ryan Kwantan's character.
On the other hand, I can't believe how bad the acting is from Anna Paquin and she's the lead! But others like Nelsan Ellis are great.
It's also a trip because someone from my undergrad film class in 1991 has a growing role in the show: Todd Lowe as Terry Bellefleur. I still have a VHS with him as the lead in a student film that my roommate made. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

Totally agree with you. After the third season, the cheese factor kind started to slowly slip in and by the 4th season there were cheesy episodes all over the place.
There were moments in this last episode when I found myself thinking is Anna Paquin regressing as an actress?? But its hard for me to say if its the acting that I find bad or if she's just annoying. Tara's acting skills seem a bit unidimensional IMO as well. The rest of the actors I think do a pretty good job. [Edited 7/3/12 17:41pm] Change it one more time..

I had this idea for a thread that I just started, inspired by Anna Pacquin
Actors that cannot kiss on screen.
As I said in that thread, she has the chemistry of a wet piece of toast.
That being said, her "Pina Colada" scene was cute. I'm firmly planted in denial

Okay, finally made time to see this. All I can say is, I'm interested in seeing how Pam and Tara's relationship will go...as well as Jason and Jessica's. That whole storyline with Terry is confusing the fuck out of me. I don't know why, but I'm finding Andy quite sexy this season. Lafayette's anger side is hilarious. I was glad that Bill didn't come to Sookie's rescue yet again and continued on with his mission with find Russell with Eric. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Episode 5.5 *SPOILER*
There are two new teasers for episode 5.5 easily found on www.true-blood.net.
My fave is Bill and Eric talking to Tina Majorino's vamp iStake tech character.

Same here. I'm looking forward to seeing Pam & Tara and I think Jason and Jessica are adorkable.
I think the Terry arc is a late season story. I really want to see what the baddie is in this storyline.
Andy is also adorkable. I was quite pleasantly surprised at how attractive his is.
I'm also really looking forward to seeing where LaLa goes this season. I think a big shitstorm is on the horizon. Jesus's body is still missing and I think Jesus's abuelo is about to go major brujo.
I'm not a big fan of the Sook, but I'm a bit frustrated at how so many characters are blaming Sookie for shit.
I'm wondering/hoping that Tina Majorino's vamp character is going to come in and be kind of a buddy for Sookie (mainly so we can see more of Tina M.) In the books, Sookie and Pam become friends as much as vamps and humans can, but it looks like that relationship may shift over to Pam and Tara. Unfortunately, Tina M's character is not long term from the casting spoilers I've read. Maybe she'll become a fan fave like LaLa and be kept on. I'm firmly planted in denial

Its good to see Alfre Woodard in that trailer, I thought some of the best acting on the show was done by her when she was having her drunken breakdown with Tara. Yeah, the Lafayette thing seems to be getting out of control. Maybe the ghost of Jesus will make a return.
Change it one more time..

sorry but that was alfre woodard being drunk that was another actress that plays tara's mom...alfre plays la la's mom
but ur right its gonna be good 2 see her again and i hope they keep her on more often man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
