That flower is pretty fancy, we have that kind over here too! That just proves again that your west coast used to be stuck to our east coast

Thanks. And sincere apologies. I'm sure it's my pics causing that problem, and I was worried about that. They're big and i don't know how to make them small... online that is. I don't know how other people are getting all these nice, exactly the same size images. I may try to change the first page to see if it makes it load faster.

Thank you . That's a beautiful spider which is pretty ordinary in Trinidad I was told . Does it look scary to you ? For me the ones of the scorpio in our kitchen and of the snake eating the lizard right in front of the house are way more scary .

I'm posting them at 500 pixels wide from Flickr - they give me about 5 different sizes to choose from. But inside of the photo posting box here I've seen you can put in pixels and I tried that the other day - its pretty nifty!! I've lost interest in photography as hobby One of the biggest reasons is that the camera I have + lens is about 2kg and I am noticing first stages of arthritis in my hands. So I take pix for fun mainly with the phone now and use camera only for commissioned shoots and use tripod where I can.

Ah, see, I'm still using my old PhotoBucket, so they stay at whatever size they were when I uploaded them. And I actually used the pixel re-sizer on nearly all of them. I do that will any pic I post, but particularly larger ones. I always try to keep them to a standard monitor size width.

Mostly I think the problem might be that I cropped them to different sizes, so I could never post them all in the same size box. Some of them would look warped or squished if I did that... I think.
