I have not. I dunno if I would try them.

If they use bleach or a bleach solution to whiten I assume, if it is bleach, that it will eat away at the teeth over time.

Is it safe? I hope so.

But I would prefer the brush and toothpaste.

I think it`s safe if you`ve visited a dentist right before, and your teeth are ok. I tried it once before, but i drank A LOT of tea during the week i bleached, which i guess you are not supposed to do.

If whitening is your only intention, they are extremely effective.

One box will noticably whiten your teeth if you're teeth aren'te exactly white.

If you're teeth are already white, then you'll just sort of see a 'boost' to some extent.

Lukily, I have nicely white teeth, but I do like to refresh from time to time, and

paying a dentist simply for asthetics I don't do too often.

I do think I need braces soon though. My bottom teeth ore ever-so-slightly not

perfectly aligned and that bugs me.

I am bummed that I can't use stuff like this... my teeth aren't white because my enamel didn't develop correctly... reportedly because my mom didn't have enough calcium when she was pregnant with me... so no cosmetic anything is going to fix it.

However, I suspect that it is one of those flaws that is WAY more noticeable to me than to anyone else.

If you want your teeth to stay white, you shouldn't drink black tea anytime - unless you brush right after.

In order for something to stain your teeth, two things are needed - acid and pigment. Tea, red wine, and colas (which have both) are the worst. A lot of people think coffee will stain your teeth, but it won't, by itself. It has pigment, but not acid. Now, if you put sugar in your coffee - that supplies the acid needed for coffee to stain your teeth.

The time I used them they tore my gums up. I just use a whitening mouthwash, but then I don't smoke, and only drink one cup of coffe a day so I don't come in contact with many things that'll stain my teeth badly.

Not sure what you did with them because I have never heard of them not working. My teeth are pretty white already and I still see a difference when I do it every couple of years.

This.

I use them every couple of years, and they noticeably whiten my already white teeth.

It can certainly take our European friends teeth from their original state to a nice light beige or almond color with repeated use.

I used them for about a couple of weeks and they left my teeth very sensitive. I had to switch to that Sensydine toothpaste which ain't cheap.

I used a box of these 2 years ago and although they did whiten my teeth, one tooth became SUPER SENSITIVE which I find is irreversible. sad I can't blame the Whitestrips entirely, but they certainly finished it off. confused

I probably did it on Erin's advice mad
