Advice please re: NFL Tickets

I'm coming over to the US in November and I thought I'd try and experience a real liev NFL game if possible. The Tampa Bay Buckaneers are at home when I'm over and there looks to be tickets left but I just wanted to ask a couple of questions first.

Do fans have their own ends? Will the tampa fans be at one end an the away fans at the other or does everyone just mingle?

Is the 3rd tier up too far away to see anything? do I need to pay $200+ for better tickets?

What's public transport like on a Sunday? (bit specifi I know!) Do they sell beer at games? (do they have cider in America?!)

Do tickets go fast? will I need to buy now? I'm guessing there'll be 3 of us going...

Thanks in advance!

it's the game against the San Diego Chargers by the way 11th November

Are single-game tickets really on sale yet? Did you find these through the Tampa Bay Buccanners website?

Getting tickets to some teams' games can be expensive, but I don't know that Tampa Bay is all that hot a seller. If you don't like what you find through the team, you can go to www.stubhub.com, which is the official reseller of NFL tickets. There will be tickets available on StubHub all the way up to the day before the game, and they deliver tickets electronically, so you don't have to wait on the mail, or go pick anything up.

There are not ends for the visiting team - they are usually scattered throughout the stadium. Do not be worried that you're sitting in the wrong section. The only place for a visitor to watch out for is probably the first 10 rows in the endzone, right behind the goalpost. That's usually where the "supporter group" for the home team sits. But even then, they'll probably welcome you with open arms when they find out you're from another country and are taking in your first NFL game.

They DEFINITELY sell over-priced beer at NFL games. That's what football is all about! They usually stop selling beer at the end of the third quarter, though.

Third tier is fine. Interestingly enough, IMO you don't really have to sit down low at an NFL football game. You can see the plays develop a lot better if you're higher up. My favorite seats of all time were endzone seats about 40 rows up that I used to have for the Dallas Cowboys. You could see every play so clearly. Yeah, if they were at the other endzone it was kind of a bummer, but most football plays are somewhere near the middle of the field. FWIW, the owner of the Houston Texans' personal suite is in the south endzone, smack in the middle of the goal post.

I'm not familiar with Tampa Bay's public transportation system but if they've got one, I guarantee you it will be working on Sunday, and a LOT of football fans will be taking it. But check with Imago - he lived in Tampa Bay for a long time and probably knows all about that part.

Have fun!

As a Tampa Bay Bucs fan... I can guarantee none of the games will be sold out...tickets won't be a problem...

Third tier seats are okay...but I'm sure you'll be able to move down to a better seat...

No subway system in Tampa, it's best to rent a car and drive...

Definitely get their early and tailgate your butt off!!... You wont have to spend those outrageous prices for beer inside if you're already buzzed...lol
I also agree.... Ask Imago
