I'm the last male of my name and I won't be having any kids. My Mother and Father's family lines are both very long, but my Father's will end with me (something I'm not really bothered by at all ). My Uncle on my Mother's side had a son who is only in his mid 20s, so that one could continue. But if he doesn't have a boy that line will end as well, and that one can be traced back to Viking times in Sweden.

I am possibly the tallest person in my family @ the moment [my 16 year old nephew is catching up with me though ]. I look different from quite a few of my family members too......

On my mom's side of the family, I'm the only one to go to college, and I'm the only female that was not a teen-age mom.

On my dad's side of the family, I'm the only one to go to grad school and get a Master's degree.

On both sides of the family, I'm the only one that was ever strong enough to get out of the family and away from the dysfunction.

I forgot to mention that... me and my sister are the only ones in my family to be college graduates at least between siblings. I had a cousin who attended at the same time I did but he dropped out and found work in pharmetics.

Never got hooked on drugs, never hooked, never got sent to prison or jail.

Umm. There is no need for women to take on their man's name when married. My dad remarried years ago (15yrs) they each kept their last names.

What does that have to do with me? There isn't anybody else with my last name in our family who will be having kids.

Well that was a strange detour...

All my siblings have B blood group & I think I must've been the genetic empty shakings of the bag being the youngest cuz I'm group O. Even my parents aren't O blood group. Think I must be the milkman's!

I'm the one that's traveled the most outside of North America, and speaks languages other than English.
