Grab the nearest book to you.

1. Turn to page 17.... If page 17 is a title page or an unworded page, go to the very next worded page that has at least 2 paragraphs.

2. Go to the second sentence of the second paragraph.

3. Type it here

5. Find some desperate way to relate it to your life. lol

In fact, many girls feel absolutely nothing.

Let's see, how can I relate this to my life.

My kids have started summer vacation and I'm already really tired of the disruption in my life. It's easier when they're in school regularly. They're driving me nuts, and are tearing the house apart. So I guess I wish I were sedated?

Naw, I only own one Oscar Wilde book. That's from someone's biography describing their husband to be.

Two other choices

He needed to run down to the office to pick up some paperwork for a client, and Jana decided she'd go to the grocery store for a few things.

My life: SSDD

These attitudes were debilitating for truly experimental science.

My life: I need an attitude adjustment.

'Descriptive Metadata, which is used in the discovery and identification of an object.'

This relates to me because I enter descriptive metadata to facilitate the discovery and identification of an object and i use descriptive metadata in the discovery and identification of an object. Sometimes I cry from boredom.

My son's book by his computer...I'm in Chicago at his place.

The Weather Makers-The History and Future Impact of Climate Change...Tim Flannery

"I frequently hear people say that all will be okay with climate change because 'Gaia will sort it out.'"

At the risk of sending this to P&R...I always say humans are ignorant for waiting on some Goddess (or earth mother or God or any other entity) to sort out all problems instead of working to help the planet. Think how much better the planet and life would be if we didn't sit on our asses waiting for the end of the world to make it all better. confused

lol OK, so, I've mentioned before that I have a lot of books within a close proximity to the computer I'm using most of the time when I post at the Org. Today, however, sitting on the third shelf just below eye level, turned upright so the cover was facing outward, was Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Other Tales" (that big pink Barnes & Noble edition).

Page 17, second line of the second paragraph...

"Would the fall never come to an end?"

lol I don't need to relate it to life, that is life. lol
